Remarks :

My college is the best college in the Pune. Overall it is a good college for a person who comes from a middle-class background and I have told you, free of cost.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course BTS is a good structure based course. The study structure is really good. The course has been 3 years.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities are provided by the college. The placements companies are coming in college and they took aptitude test interview and also they check the performance of students their ability and then selected for the job.

College Events :

Our college has been really good at cultural events. Talking about technical, we had quite a few Industrial Visits organized by HOD to various places in & around Pune where we could learn a lot of things & gained the practical knowledge about the things which were taught us by faculties in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is good and feasible. But it's affordable for the middle-class students. We paid INR 1.92 lakh per year.

Campus Life :

Campus life has been too great but since we are either busy in classes or in labs most of the time, but, yes, we do have a nice campus. The new students the most. In the case of my field BTS.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the alumni network is good in my case, our senior students help us out wherever needed. Also, my senior because of whom I selected this college, also guided me.

Admission :

I got the admission through Entrance Test. After the Entrance Test, the college is conducted on personal Interviews.

Faculty :

The faculties of my colleagues are highly supportive and they provide us lots of tools that is a very efficiently in a way that each and everyone can understand and they stay back at the college if any of the students are weak.

IHM Mumbai, My journey

Placement Experience:

The course definitely makes you employable in the industry. You get to bag in all sorts of skills. The final placements start in the third year with big brands coming in. Every major hotel chain like IHCL, EIH, ITC etc visited the campus and took students. Companies like jubilant foods and others also came for placements. Mostly all the students who want to get placed, get placed. I had a different plan after pursuing my degree which was to go for an MBA.

Good or bad, but it's my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to explore the hotel industry. The faculty is very supportive and very educated. They all were working in good 5 star hotels 30:70. Term exams were semester wise and there was the internal assessment that helps students in knowing the pattern of semester exams. And the internal assessment marks were added to the semester. So if u didn't perform well in the semester assessment marks can save you. It's not that difficult to pass you can go through the past year papers and study.

A brief of IHM Mumbai

Placement Experience:

All the reputed 5-star companies come to our college for placements such as Tah hotel, Oberoi group, four seasons, st.regis, ITC hotel, Starbucks, and many more such brands. The salary you get after is course is nearly about 16000 to 22000 per month. Generally 90%+ students get placed from the campus itself but due to covid reasons in 2020, the placements were affected.

Our college has a record of getting 100% placement every year to date. In the third year of your college, you will be eligible to sit in the placements. In the 5&6th semester, companies start to come and take interview and conduct test for the recruitment of students. Huge properties like Taj, Oberoi and many other properties come every year. And some quick service restaurant's also come for recruitment.
