Remarks :

It is a very good college with the sole intention of improving all the students and preparing them for the problems they would face in the future.

Entrance Preview :

COMEDK 124 the college is among the top colleges in bangalore and it is very close to my house the teaching staff also have a very good reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was very vast and very informative as it consisted of everything that is required for a basic mechanical engineer. We had a choice for many electives such as experimental stress analysis, design for manufacturing and assembly, automation in manufacturing, etc.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies such as Infosys Accenture westline mind tree had come to my college. They offered very good salaries for both permanent basis work as well as internships.

Placement Experience :

Infosys offered 3.6l per annum accenture offered 3.3l mind tree offered 4l per annum 200 students were placed out of the total number of 260.

College Events :

The college celebrates many cultural and technical events. They organise seminars and talks regularly for all branches. They even organise talks to aid for gre and other competitive exams. The coll fest is a big hit every year as almost 1500 to 2000 students turn up from all over bangalore.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is expensive for management students as it adds up to 10 lakhs for four years. It is considerably lower for comedk students. For cet students it is much lower and it is very feasible.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college offers scholarship every year to 10 deserving students. They offer scholarships of up to twenty thousand rupees per year.

Campus Life :

The college has a 2:1 ratio in favour of girls. They organise many events and also reward the winners with numerous cash prizes and also vouchers from many book stores which help the students in one way or another.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is very clean and the sharing is 2 per room. The rooms are also clean and the food is very homely as well.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors were very helpful and they guided us in every way possible. The alumni is also a good group as they meet regularly and many times in college to speak with the teachers.

Exam Structure :

The exams were held only once a month and the schedule was not very hectic as well. Labs are very organised and everything happens according to the plan of action.

Faculty :

The faculty in my college are very well versed in the subjects and they immediately cleared any doubt a student had. They are reputed lecturers who have a very strong background.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
