Remarks

The college has a big campus. The facilitiea are not upto the mark. There are some orthodox people in the college as well who closed our canteen giving the reason that boys and girls use to waste their time in the canteen. The management is also very poor as it does not take action or fulfill the needs of students timely.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The structure of course is average but it could have been better if the business laws could also be taught in the course. The college does not offer any industrial tour or it does not support you in doing any internship. It did not arranged any campus placement due to which I faced a lot of problem in searching a job.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college did not provided any campus placement until I graduated from there nor they provided any help for the internship. As gaya is a small city, there is no organization where anyone can do an internship. They only provide a letter of recommendation and you can do an internship in any branded showroom.

College Events

2

Every year there will be a cultural event for every stream and where we will be having chance to innovate or develop anything related to our stream topics as on our interest i. e. Electronics in my case. We will build and present to everyone by keeping the stall for that day and compete with ourselves. A guest will be going through all the innovations across all streams and will be announcing the best 5 and others with participation appreciation rewards. Food stalls and funny activities will be going on in parallel. Apart from this, college annual day will be going on with chief guest and dinner with lots of performances that evening. Similarly other events like Sports meet every year and Campus Recruitment Training will be held during the last year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of this course was not too expensive. For my course which was BBM, the tution fees was ? 10000 per year. Apart from this, we need to pay one time university registration fees and examination fees every year which was aprox 6000 to 7000. Over all, you can get a degree from this college by spending ? 40000 in 3 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

We need to fill up a form every year for scholar ship where in we were supposed to get back our tution fees and along with that ? 3000 as scholarship. The scholarship is provided by state goverment and is available for sc/st and obc candidates only. I applied for the scholarship all the 3 years but got only in the last year.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio is average, though girls are still less. Several student union parties are active in the campus and student union elections are also held in the college. As the college does not offer any engineering courses, there is no robotics department. The labs are for other courses as for management courses labs are not required so it was not in our department. Also every department has its dedication library apart from a central library in the college.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is no dedicated hostel managed by college but there are lots of hostels all around the college with a very reasonable price. It have all the minimum required amenities like washing area, attached washrooms and WiFi for every floor with 3 time food facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the students does not attend the classes regularly. We did not had very good interactions with our seniors. There were several seniors which were known to me but they are not too helpful for the studies. Once the course is iver, everyone is busy in their life and I have not met any of my senior once they were passed out.

Admission

I was a science student in 12th and couldn't get a good rank in engineering entrance. As I am economically very weak, and my goal was to do MBA, I thought of doing BBA but due to certain family issues, I couldn't take admission to a college outside my state so I gave the entrance test for BBM in gaya college and got selected.

Faculty

3

The faculties are good but most of them.are contractual and are paid on per class basis. Some of the faculties teaches in very intresting way and make the things very easy to understand, but some faculty's classes were boring as the way of their teaching is not up to tbe mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was convocational course named BBB (Bachelor in Business Management). Since I was motivated to be a businessman I opted for this course. The curriculum is well designed which prepares students for the real world since it gives deeper insights of the corporate world and also focuses on to tackle real life decisions. They should have included some industrial visits also in the course to prepare students for the corporate world. Their teaching method was good, no complaints in it. The main exam was semester exam which was conducted by the University once in six months and it was mandatory to pass. The difficulty level was easy, almost everyone used to pass it comfortably.

Campus placements are offered after completion of MBA and are decent. Lot of companies come offering good placements for all branches. Newer companies came this year for summer internships like EY, KPMG, etc. Banks like HDFC and HBSC have also selected few students for employment.

Remarks:

The most important criteria or the factor which influences me to get admission in this college is their fee structure. As compare to other colleges ISM has affordable fee structure and they also provide the drcc loan if you are not able to pay by own.ISM gives the quality of education and after getting admission in this college I am totally agree with it. They not only focus the academics but they also focus on the co curricular so that the students must have knowledge about all the things and they can do their best in the field in which they are interested. The management of college is awesome and I just want to tell you if you really want to learn something go for it.
