Remarks :

Till now there is no negative remarks of Jct college of engineering and technology. The positive remark of this college is students have started sharingo in coimbatore which would offer proper usage of excess food by transporting to the poor people.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is good because it covers all the basic papers like Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Food chemistry, Meat, fish, poultry, dairy, fruits and vegetables processing technology, food flavours, food additives etcha. The exams will occur two times per year and there are 8 semesters till the completion of the course. The laboratory exams will also occur before the starting of semester examinations.

Placement Experience :

There is placement and pool drive in our campus which will be helpful for the people to enter into job. Papain pvt ltd, Aavin, Britania, ByJus and other companies related today other departments come for the placement in our college.

College Events :

Onam, womens day, Utsav, Dhruvaz, Pravega, pongal, sports day, Hostel day, Annual day, zero hunger and many other celebrations are being celebrated in our college. we also invite other college students during the department functions to participate in paper and poster presentation and also in other activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure depends upon the entry into the college. Through anna university and scholarship quota feel is less compared to management quota. Eg: food technology through counseling (per year) Tuition fee:40000 Other fee: 30000 Hostel fee:55000 Fee paid before joining Id card:500 Application fee:500 Hostel donation:5000(will be returned at the end)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

BC, MBC, SC, ST scholarship and it is applied by college and it should be renewed every year. First graduate scholarship which is provided by Tamilnadu government for the first graduates. we can apply education loan upto 50000 through any banks like SBI, Canara etc.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities is available in physical education. sports like volley ball, kabadi, cricket, football, carrom, chess, table tennis and athletics is been available in college. The labs are good and contains expensive instruments in all the labs.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel infrastructure is good. It contains two floor and 8 sharings in single room. 24 hrs electricity and water, hotel water in the morning. The food is of good quality. Hostel is secured by lady security and cctv in working for 24 hrs

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, I have contact with our aluminus of our college. They had placed in good companies like aavin, sharingo, papain industries etc. They had a good life after studying in Jct college of engineering na technology.

Admission :

I got admission in this college through Anna University counselling. Through counselling we can enter the college which will be less fees compared to management quota. The main purpose of selecting this college is because of food technology department which has great scope all over the world. My aim is to become a food research scientist so I chose this department. The admission process is frst to undergo the cousneling and then enter the college with counselling letter and later enter an admission in the college after getting fee details and application form.

Faculty :

The faculties are good and kind to students. All the Hods minimum qualification is PHD and the profeesors have the minimum qualification of M. tech. The way of teaching is good and the staffs provide good, quality information needed to the students
