Remarks :

The college was a well known and deciplined one in bygone years, but to be extra honest, there are some issues going on related with the management in the current situation, which is leading the goodwill of the college to sake, however you can still count on the MBA, MCA blocks, I bet you won't find a better MBA campus nearby

Course Curriculum Overview :

From my personal point of view and experiences, B. tech under KTU in a private college isn't a good idea, however you can choose it if you are passionate about engineering, in SNGIST, the engineering department is just average, but you can count on them for courses like MBA or MCA programmes, the lab, lab staffs are perfect in any department, they provides pretty good assistance, overall staff behaviour is fine

Placement Experience :

Placements on 2019 were carried out efficiently and most of my seniors are placed, But I've found an inefficient behaviour from placement cell 2020, so it depends on placement cell members each year, they don't provide internships, we have to find our own.

College Events :

There are a lot of programs going on. Arts, sports, foodfest, onam festival, christmas celebration, bakrid programs, cultural events, journel releasing, etc. The college union hosts many events. Famous people come to the show like movie stars

Fee Structure And Facilities :

If you come through CET or COMEDK it is feasible. The management seat is quite expensive. The fee structure also depends apon the course you chose. CET. 65000 to 75000 Comedk 170000 to 250000 Management. Depends

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college supports loans, however they won't provide us loans, they only provides us letters and documents needed for taking loans, we would have to search for the available loans ourselves, I don't promote bank loans on education because as the best of my knowledge, it had a higher interest rate,

Campus Life :

Extra curricular activities are a bit poor, however they organises sports day once In an year apart from that the teams of kabaddi, football and basketball are a bit active, none of the other events are noticed to be given proper encouragement by the management

Alumni/Alumna :

The college doesn't provide you alumni assistance or nether have they been good at keeping a relation with bygone students, however, we still have contact with our own seniors who shared the campus with us on their final years, they are helpful in mentoring and assisting us about career, however, college management isn't involved in any of these

Admission :

I got into this college through CET. I had a rank of 15, 000. My admission process took only a day and from the next day I was handed the required stuff and my college journey started. Many papers like 10th marks card, puc marks card, etc are required

Faculty :

The faculty's of all the department's are good, they provides good assistance, but there is a situation in the college this year, some of the experienced staffs are resigning in bulk and the management is recruiting new staffs, but as of now, the existing faculties are sincere and good

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
