Course Curriculum Overview :

Course of my program is structured quite well. university is AICTE approved and hence the course subject of any branch is more or less same as in any other university. But in our university, teachers pay special attention to practical approach.

Placement Experience :

yes, there are internship and job opportunities. Previous placement record of this university is quite good. Many companies visit campus each year for campus placements. As this university offers a variety of courses, so companies of different fields and work visit campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure of this is feasible.Don't know about other courses but Annual fees of my course is neither too expensive nor cheap when comparing the fees with other college offering the same course. fees for first year is around 1.2 lac and form second year it is around 1.1 lac.

Campus Life :

college atmosphere is very good. Student of all the fields are in the campus and hence there is a very diverse crowed in the campus. One will get opportunity to interact with people of different mindset. college management is good. All the facilities are in the campus like library, computer and chemistry labs etc. These facilities are well maintained. college organizes many workshop on different topics for the students.

Hostel Facilities :

yes, university has hostel facility available. Boys and girls hostel buildings are separated. Hostel fees is not included in the fees and needs to be paid separately. All the facilities are in the hostel like WIFI, 24Hr security, laundry and hygienic mess .

Admission :

to get admission in this college one needs to appear in one of these two entrance exams : Jee mains or HPCET(Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test). i appeared in Jee mains exams and with the rank i scored this was the best option i was getting at that time.

Faculty :

This university offers a wide variety of courses in all the fields. This university is approved by COA, PCI, BCI, AICTE, UGC, AIU. Faculty of each department is well qualified and have good experience in their fields. Specially the teachers of my course(B.tech) have great experience and are helpful in nature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a web designer. The faculties are quite interesting and hard working and the faculties are good. Maximum faculties are quite good. Some have done MTech and some are Ph.D. holders. Exams are mediocre and there are semester systems and likely to be in January and July.

Best college Hamirpur NIT

Admission:

I got admission to this college via an entrance exam named (JEE mains). The admission process had various steps to be followed. It will take 1 or 2 days to complete the admission process. I opted for this course because I like to learn about technology. I choose this institute because of my marks on the entrance exam and also by its facilities. 1st there is seat reservation then submission of forms then checking of forms and finally getting roll no. And hostel facility.

Placement Experience:

On-campus placement in our college is pretty good. Several companies visit our campus such as Bharat petroleum, INFOSYS, bajaj, etc. About 75 to 80% of students get placed in every batch. We have a special club for the preparation of placements named as placement cell, it helps us in various ways such as increasing communication skills.

Remarks:

I only have positive remarks that mess food is great, sports section is great, festsare great and faculty is great. Teaching assistants are great. Remarks:

College is in its early days. It will get better day by day. It is located in a really peaceful location surrounded by the Dhauladhar hills but yes it is located in a remote location, 4 km in from the main city (Nagrota Bagwan). The campus is really clean and beautiful. All the facilities like WiFi, Medical, Security, Parking ect are given to every student. But the negative thing about RGGEC Kangra is that there is no computer centre available at this time, there is no proper transportation facility available. I hope our college will overcome these negative things very soon.

I score 110 marks in JEE mains 2014 and then get admission in this college by the counselling process.

Admission:

Because of general category my marks was not sufficient for a government engineering college JNGEC . Therefore I had chosen this college in the counselling done by Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur. I had filled a counselling form online but the counselling process is not online.
