Remarks
I completed my MBA from KLS IMER, Karnataka. The college was very amazing, my peers are also quite supportive and helpful to me during the course. The college has a decent infrastructure and food alumni network and some alumni visited the campus also. Overall the college was awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is affiliated with Rani Channamma University. The course syllabus is quite good and the course subjects are quite a lot compared to other courses leaving the students quite hectic. The exams were held in semester mode and we also had internal mid-term and end-term examinations at college.
Placement Experience
The college placements were quite good. The package offered ranged from 2.5 lakh per annum to 8 lakh per annum. Many good companies and top MNCs visit the campus every year for conducting placements. There were numerous opportunities for getting placed at the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the first year was around Rs 2 lakhs, or of which 50% was to be paid at the admission time and the rest after that. The total fee for the entire course was 4.5 lakhs which is quite expensive but good as the college is one of the best of its type.
Fees and Financial Aid
Thereafter muted scholarships and concessions provided by the college for the course to meritorious and students from weaker sections of society. One can apply for a scholarship whichever they're eligible for under college guidelines. Apart from college provided scholarships, there are state and national scholarships also which students can't avail themselves.
Campus Life
The college held many competitions to provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents. Many of the competitions were on stage or required students to step up their confidence and managerial skills. There were also guest lectures, seminars and workshops for students. The college has a nice library and a good lab. The college also had an amazing auditorium.
Admission
I took admission here based on my CAT score, the college also takes admission through various entrance tests like PGCET conducted by the Government of Karnataka, CMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT or KMAT. After successfully getting a reporting letter to the college, an interview is also taken at the college by the admission committee. I cleared the interview by performing well and got admission here to pursue my MBA.
Faculty
The faculty is quite good, skilled and professional. The faculty was quite knowledgeable and always helped us in making studies easier and more understandable. The teachers always tried to reach us with the better approach possible and always guided us in a lot of ways.
