Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good. Its quite innovative. Lot of new techniques we learn relating to our course curriculum and we had a lot of learning from MOOC using Edx, Coursera and MITx. The curriculum is in line with what AICTE wants from us students. and we had a good learning

Placement Experience :

Placements are good. but core branch demand is going down. Better t go for MBA or be a graduate in some relevant discipline like comp sci or electronics. The IT companies are hiring here in bulk and hence it is good to go for tcs, infy, capegemini, cognizant. etc.

College Events :

The college has a number of tech fests and the nearby IIM as well other premier colleges provide good opportunity to compete in cultural as well as technical fests. The fest UTSAAH was a great chance to win some good prizes.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is good. Food in amritsar is also very good which is nearby only. One can also go to Chandigarh local and enjoy some great cuisines and have a good dining experience in the hostel vicinity too.

Admission :

got in through entrance exam in which I had decent rank. I had other PUCET colleges as my other options. ALL India entrance like AIEEE was not too favorable for me. This college was close to my home and good for my growth as well. I wanted to be an engineer of the core branches so i decided to go for the civil branch.

Faculty :

The faculty are well qualified. They have good projects under their belt. And they have relevant multiple degrees uptill at least the master level. A lot of good work has been done by the faculties in our class and students take up all that knowledge like a sponge.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university. The average pakage is 5-6 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 1cr LPA . The campus usually tells us to keep the CGPA more than 7, I will go to foreign country after my degree
