Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is an Anna university affliated college hence, needless tp say the syllabus is also the standard well-known anna university syllabus. There is a perfect balance between the theory and practical. Regular classes are very informative.

Placement Experience :

The placements at SJIET are quite decent, we can also do internships relating to our field from where we sometimes get placement opprtunities. The college does not provide any internships to students in specific.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is affordable by most of the students, it is around Rs 50,000 per year and for the whole course, which is, four years it is Rs 2,00,000. Student education loans are always an option to those who could not afford.

Campus Life :

We have a great ground for us to play during leisure time and to organize other functions and culturals. The gender ratio is remarkable, we are not discriminated on any basis of caste, creed and religion.

Hostel Facilities :

There are hostel facilities for both boys and girls separate. The fee is Rs 62,000 for the whole year. The mess is clean and hygienic, the food also tastes good. We have all essential facilities available within the campus itself.

Admission :

Admissions are purely based on the TNEA score or nay equvalent scores like the JEE mains. The candidate need a minimum of 50%, I secured 65% and got B.E agriculture stream during counselling, this is an Anna University affliated college.

Faculty :

The faculty here are well qualified, experienced faculties, they motivate us in all the ways possible. As agriculture students we gain as much as practical on-the-field knowledge when compared to other streams of engineering. They motivate us into doing research and publish journals and articles relating to the same.

Great College to Lean Good Engineering Knowledge

Placement Experience:

From the Final year last semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. For mechanical there are a lot of core companies that come for placements. Also, even IT Companies take some of our mechanical students. The percentage of the students who get placed is 90% on average. Some of the core companies are LPT(Lakshmi Precision Tools), SAEW, NVH, PDS, S.S.FASTENERS, RENAULT NISSAN MITSUBISHI. The highest salary package offered is 5 lakhs per annum and on average is 3 lakhs per annum.

Dream to achieve big

Placement Experience:

From semester 6, they will provide campus placement offers. It depends on the students. Many companies will be visiting the college every year. Infosys, IBM, tata, reliance, and many more top companies will be visiting. We may get enormous offers from companies. The highest package is 12laks and average package is 2laks. Nearly every single student will be placed, except some slow learners and who are not mentally prepared one's. My plans after my degree are to get a deserved job and should be profitable.
