Remarks :
None in particular which have not already been summarized in the answers above.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very exhaustive and comprehensive, with a definite proclivity towards research and experiential learning. Some days were hectic, depending on the schedule, while some were light. The number of pending assignments play a big role in determining the level of stress of any given week.
Placement Experience :
The placement scene is good, with reputed companies from across different domains offering a multitude of roles to different candidates. ITC, HUL, Reliance, Colgate Palmolive, Loreal, Godrej and Philips were a few of the companies, and I got placed in Philips (stipend classified).
College Events :
NEEV is our college fest and the 3rd largest in India. The Management Committee, Entrepreneurship Cell and others organise events and competitions the whole year round, which see participation from b schools across the country.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees are reasonable and fall along the average - 18 lakhs per annum, subject to a possible increase of 70 thousand rupees depending on existing market trends. In comparison to placement stats, this figure gives reasonable ROI.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Not sure. However, a number of scholarships exist for meritorious students which are doled out after the first semester results are released. Exact details I am unaware of at this point.
Campus Life :
Tolerance and diversity are high, as are participation in cultural activities. Gender ratio stands at 2:1, which can do with much improvement.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are reasonably spacious, with 3 to a room. Hostel accommodation is compulsory. Facilities are decent. Washrooms are well maintained, although mess food could use major improvement. Presence of on-site restaurant and cafe in the hostel premises is a great positive.
Alumni/Alumna :
They do exist, they are approachable, and they are helpful. The seniors can be approached at any time on campus and the alumni are often called to campus by the Alumni Relations Team.
Admission :
Group Exercise and discussion, followed by a Written Ability Test, and then an interview comprised the admission process post shortlising on the basis of entrance exam score. I chose MBA Core over Business Analytics or Infrastructure Development Management courses because I felt it would be most suitable to me.
Faculty :
The faculty is very qualified, and very competent, for the most part. A few professors notably outperform others, however. The guest lecturers in particular are usually excellent, especially those in the 2nd semester onwards.
