Course Curriculum Overview :
The Curriculum is the standard government engineering curriculum, the system in this college is CGPA system we have 20 internals and 8 externals for the whole course. In the first year, all the departments have a common syllabus, after entering the second year we learn about the department related subjects.
Placement Experience :
Companies like TCS come here for recruitment. Mostly everyone gets placed, internships are also provided for some students from all departments except civil. The training and placement department trains us well in aptitude and soft skills development.
College Events :
VARADA is the college's most anticipated fest, with many fun events like mismatch day, green day, blue day etc., many more ethnic festivals like Diwali, Holi and other national holidays are also celebrated equally.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee is feasible to most of them, as this is a government institute the fee is much lesser than the private institutes. The fee per year is Rs. 19,090 and for the whole course it adds up to Rs. 76,360 (four years)
Fees and Financial Aid :
Yes, a scholarship is provided to underprivileged students or students with good academic records. A refund of Rs. 15,000 is given in the first year and the government scheme called "Vidhya Siri" also provides scholarships to students of 10,000.
Campus Life :
The labs of the college are well-equipped, there is no discrimination against anybody regarding caste or religion. The gender ratio is also equal. Students that are interested in sports can pursue sports.
Admission :
I cleared my KCET and applied for CSE in GEC after getting my boards marks too. I was then shortlisted based on both of these scores and was called for counselling where I had to lock the course I wanted.
Faculty :
Our faculties are very good. Apart from civil and mechanical staffs rest of the staffs are liberal but civil and mechanical staffs, though they are tough, teach very well. Most have them have their doctorate degrees, which is very inspiring.
