Course Curriculum Overview :

My course curriculum is vast and helps students to gain knowledge. The course contains both theory and practical which makes it very interesting in my perspective. A choice was provided to us of a number of elective subjects from which we have to chose one of our interest. We are also taught digital circuits, algorithms and software training in our course of 8 semesters.

Placement Experience :

Companies like Swipe Cubes, Dream Tech, TCIL, etc. visit our campus for recruitment purposes. Our placement cell acts as a bridge between the industry and students and provide a range of services. We are also made to undergo special grooming sessions to enhance our personality.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

?the fee structure of the college is quite reasonable. The fees varies from course to course. My first year fees was approximately Rs. 84,000. The total fees for 4 years amounts to approx 4 lakhs.

Campus Life :

There are various societies and clubs which we can enroll into like entrepreneur development cell. There is also a cultural club which organizes events such as republic day celebration, science fair. Sports events are also organised for students of all departments. In this way the college provides a wholesome experience.

Admission :

I scored 78% in PCM in my 12th boards. After which I took JEE Mains exam which I qualified with a good rank that led my admission to this college through merit basis. It is a trusted college with excellent record of academic excellence which helped me choose it for my B.Tech computer science studies.

Faculty :

Many of our professors are from research background. They are really cooperative and make use of efficient technology to help us understand their lectures more clearly. They also look forward to learning new things be it even from us students.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university. The average pakage is 5-6 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 1cr LPA . The campus usually tells us to keep the CGPA more than 7, I will go to foreign country after my degree
