Remarks :

I don't know about other colleges. But i think most of the colleges are like this. But if i get a chance to make a college in my life it'll be definitely much better than this.

Entrance Preview :

NATA, it is an entrance exam for admission in architecture. The minimum marks required to pass this test were 80 and i scored81. I opted for this college because this is the only college which was ready to give me admission as i had scored very less as per the standards of other good colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Very easy, interesting and creative. I am happy to be part of it. At first i found it hard, but later it got easier and easier. I passed all the exams easily and it has been a god experience till now.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship was the best era in my life. It was really the best. I learned a lot new things and the experience were awesome. The general stipend offered was 4000/-

Placement Experience :

No placements whatsoever. We ourselves have to work hard and find a job. Job opportunities are a lot but the pay is not much high. All the firms pay almost equally. So in the end we have to setup our own firm.

College Events :

Shilpmasters is the only event that happens every year. And it is the best 3-4 days of the semester. All the fun activities are there. the cultural programs etc, which we usually see in colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is too damn high and unfair 40,000 per semester and 16000 for bus fee. So it is hard to manage for us, it should be reduced. So that everyone can afford.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No good scholarship / loan facility offered by your college that you know of or availed. None in my knowledge.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is equal, i don't know about hostel, workshops are fine, cultural societies are not there in architecture, everything else is fine. No discrimination based on gender ,race etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities and food is the only good thing about college. The food is good and the facilities in the hostel are also appropriate.

Exam Structure :

No the exam structure was not much hectic. We used to have three sessional exams and they were easy. We used to pass them by cheating.

Faculty :

Faculty of the college was bad, really bad. Actually they all were our seniors so they had no experience. If one wants to know something and gain some knowledge he has to do that by himself the college faculty won't help much.

The college provides decent placements . Most of the placements are through the alumini network of the college and over more than 70 percent children get placed . Highest package accounts til 9 lpa which quiet good in architecture and average package accouts for 7 lpa

Remarks:

Our college has a peaceful environment with vast campus space. But the infrastructure is old. Also there isn't placement opportunities for the students. The hostels can be improved by a great deal. But the faculty is good, although some practical work can be improved in teaching.

Admission:

I was interested in pursuing Bachelors in Architecture and those opted for this college. I took the JEE Main Paper 2 and qualified it. Sat for the counselling and got the college in the later rounds of counselling. Admissions to the college are done based on the merit. However, certain seats are also offered through management quota.

Placement Experience:

Internship opportunities are available for students. Students can search for Internship outside and the placement cell also guides students about the same. Placement rate of the college is nice. A good number of companies come to the campus and students can also explore job opportunities outside. Many seniors have got decent placement package.

Remarks:

It typically takes a semester or quarter to hit your stride. Looking back on those early days you may very well shake your head and wonder what all the fuss was about. You might even feel a little nostalgic! A few students, however, may feel overwhelmed and homesick for a while. They may miss their parents, friends, even the family dog. They may find that going to college is not quite what they expected. If this turns out to be you, take advantage of on-campus counseling services. Virtually all colleges have such services. Your health center staff can help you get started. They are highly experienced at helping students just like you.

Entrance Preview:

I took the NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) and obtained the score 80 / 200 . I appeared once again for the examination in the same year and scored 100/200 so average was calculated as 90.

Admission:

I migrated from another college in 2nd year to RIMT, as it was recommended by a friend. I went to the campus in the month of August and got the form from them. After the form was filled , it was immediately submitted and got the admission confirmed within nearly a week.
