Course Curriculum Overview :

My course was for a period of 4 years holding a full-time graduation degree. The course had interesting subjects like Computer Programming, Engineering Graphics, Basic Engineering Workshop, Engineering Physics etc.

Placement Experience :

The college provides placements to the interested students with an objective to make the students aware regarding the available career options. They also help them in identifying their career options.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My course fee was not expensive and was same as in other colleges but my college provided better facilities and opportunities which made me choose this college. The grand total of my course fee was INR 2 Lakhs including other fees etc.

Campus Life :

The college provides extracurricular activities and facilities such as NSS, well-equipped library with uncountable books, journals and periodicals, a gym for physically fit body, seminar halls to develop their knowledge.

Admission :

I got admission in this college by passing my HSC (Academic and vocational) with an average percentage of 50% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics for general category whereas 45% marks for Other Backward Classes. You also have to fill the application form which is available on college's website.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is full of well-educated professors and teachers who are always available for their students in need. They have created a positive environment in the campus and teaches the students with live projects, case studies, presentations etc.

Placement Experience:

Students starting placed from their last semester. Reputed companies gave an offer. Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

SASTRA College Life- An Amazing Experience

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
