Remarks

The most positive aspect about my college will definitely be the well experienced faculty and the teaching staff that is present. Also our college provides many spiritual activities for the students to strengthen their believe in God.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course structure is very well defined by the management of the college. Also, the college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of health Sciences which is in Bangalore, Karnataka. The course is recognised by Indian nursing council which is a very good thing and also Karnataka state nursing council thus, the course structure is very well curated.

Placement Experience

5

Because our college also have a parent hospital so the job opportunities and placement opportunities are easily available for all of the students who have passed the MSc course. Student can get good nursing opportunities in the hospital.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We all aware that the duration of MSc nursing course is only of 2 years. Our school provides 100000 rupees as your yearly fees for the course of MSc in nursing. I think the fee structure is very affordable because many a times I have seen that the college management systems impose a large amount of fees to the students and then the students go into financial dept but it is not so in our college.

Campus Life

5

Extra curricular activities at our college are very good. Our college provides sports facilities for the students. There are good options for library and laboratories in our college. Our library holds more than 6000 nursing books.

Admission

Talking about the eligibility criteria you have to have a minimum of one year experience after completing BSc to get admission in the MSc course from this college. The application form for the course is available at the college campus with the application fees of rupees 750. You can get the application form online also. You just have to submit the form then you will be called for an entrance exam which is conducted by the college itself and after that you have to go through an interview also. Then finally a merit list is prepared by the faculty of the college to confirm the admissions.

Faculty

5

One of the most impressive thing about this college is the availability of well experienced staff members. The college staff help us to recognise our talents and they also help us to undertake practical lab session so that we can become good nurses in future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do my masters in pediatrics nursing, as pediatrics was one of my favorite subject in BSc and I always wanted to work for the welfare of mother and child health, as India is a developing country there is a lot of changes made by the country for the betterment of child and mother health and the process is still continuing with lots of new technologies and devices, I wish to be a part of this development by providing service to child and mother health. The faculty-student ratio is 20:1.The faculties were well-experienced everyone had a master's degree. the teaching method was very understandable. the teaching quality was appreciated. Exams are often conducted three times a year, passing the exams was easy, as the portions were covered on time and we had time to study and revise our subjects before the exam. I am happy to work as a pediatric nurse and I am very much thankful to the college for providing me with good quality practical and theoretical knowledge.

Admission:

After completing my UG in BAMS, I was doing a research of PG colleges in Karnataka which provides good curriculum and have a good infrastructure for practical classes. I came across my college which was ranked one of the best colleges in Karnataka for PG in Ayurveda and Siddha. The selection process was very simple like they checked my UG scores and my trainee experience certificate. They had a interview and it was checking my experience as trainee doctor and my practical skills. That's all and I was selected.
