Remarks :

No major events that highlight the nature but in general, they were co-operative and helping in nature did not face any bad experiences.

Entrance Preview :

Got admission on the basis of MH-CET. Opted for the college because it has a decent reputation in Mumbai for its Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum followed was that of Mumbai University which is quite standard. The courses were of Medium difficulty electives were offered in the final year students mainly had to choose amongst six electives out of which only two were offered by the college other subjects like Neural Networks and others did not have teachers that were knowledgable in that subject.

Internships Opportunities :

No internship experience final year project was the only source of industrial exposure that can be gained while studying in Mumbai university in general, no companies are called for internship exposure the students have to utilize their own contacts to gain projects from industries.

Placement Experience :

Placements were decent with big players in the IT industry like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs etc visiting the campus. Package offered was usually 3.0 to 3.5 lacs per annum.

College Events :

Three major events were celebrated on a large scale - Sports fest, Cultural fest and Technical fest. Participation and enthusiasm in the festivals was about average the college could have made additional efforts to get non-participating students involved using some means.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees was 42000 per year which was a pretty fair amount for our batch it was near about average when compared to other college fees in the batch of 2006-2010.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not offered by college the college did not offer any grants or funds that would help students in their studies.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was very healthy, being a college in a metropolitan city like Mumbai. There were no hostels available the college hosted robotics workshops and computer workshops time-to-time which was good sports committee was active but limited to some active members and did not involve a large number of people. Ethnicity was also varied with people from various parts of India.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels and Mess were not a part of the college campus. Being in Mumbai, hostels and mess are not a part of campus because of space issues people stay with their friends in apartments.

Alumni/Alumna :

There is no platform for interaction with Alumni the interaction is very less except when you meet them in your companies by co-incidence this is not very convenient when searching for jobs when referrals and contacts are valued more and much needed.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure was relaxed with 3 days to study between each exam. However, the syllabus seemed to be vast and the exams questions were also medium to difficult quality. Particularly, exam times used to be hectic depending on the nature of the subject

Faculty :

Some of the faculty members were really good. Teachers had a fairly good knowledge about their subjects but most of them were quite cursory in their teaching. Their courses did not have a clear structure of assignments, lectures and lab sessions. Even tho

Placement Experience:

When the students are in there final year then most of the students apply for the job interview but the students who gained some skills and have pracitical experience in their field then only they will get selected in vapus placements. lot of companies visit to the college and offer jobs but asks for strong resume and skills in the students.

Remarks:

he placements were pretty well. There were many students who were placed in MNCs. Most of the companies were IT based companies. Amongst all, only 1 core electronics company came to our college for recruitments. The highest package was around 4 LAP. Our college also provides opportunities for other off-campus drives which took place nearer to Solapur. The companies that came to the campus were mainly MNCs providing an average package of 2.5 LPA which is pretty well for a fresher graduated from a non-government college
