Remarks :

Could improve on technologies and extra curricular activity.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is just sufficient, they don’t teach much if the medical subjects in details. Just eNo,ugh to pass the exams. dental subjects are good eNo,ugh fir vast knowledge. The dissection is not practically shown so difficulty to understand anatomy occurs.

Placement Experience :

There is an compulsory internship after you graduate for a period of 1 year and placements are not done thourough college.

College Events :

Only sports day is celebrated for nce a year, No, other event or fest is celebrated thouroughout the year. Sometimes for the pupose if entertaining the NAAC staff or for dental conferences some cultural fest us arranged for the audience. nothing eccelt that.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Expensive, 3 -4 lakh per professional year, it can be paid by any method mostly by NEFT and RTGS pr by cash. Bus transportation fee is different from the tuition fee. The fee was increased only a. Year or 2 back and is very much as compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have an education loan from a bank as my father didn’t wanna pay the total money at once. The loan allows me to pay annual fee.

Campus Life :

No, major extracurricular activities except sports day are arranged by the college, sometimes for conferences and other seminars, cultural fests are organised for entertainment of the audience that are welcomed to the college premises. Skits are performed as well.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I live in jammu city itself and so I don’t need to live in the hostel and some of my friends that live there tell me Hostel is clean but the food is not so good also the AC had to brought by the student itself.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

They work in various dental hospitals and clinics pf theor own and orhers. Some students are IAS and Kas officials too.

Admission :

I wanted to go for MBBS but the cutoff led me to BDS in this college so according ti the merit list I got into this college. The selection process is under the JKBOPEE selection committee according to the merit list of boys and girls of jammu and kashmir.

Faculty :

The faculty of some departments is good eNo,ugh, some are not, medical faculties come and go and aren’t good eNo,ugh for all the detailed knowledge. The qualifications of medical staff is MBBS and MD and for dental staff it is mostly MDS. Needs improvement for medical staff.

Only patients are less and no negatives.it is a good college cancer and cubic are very good in our hospital and also over all india only 2 places has smart labs our college has a smart lab so if the technique is developed the operation cost for heavy surgeries will decrease

Best Government Dental college of Jammu and Kashmir

Remarks:

The most positive feature of our college is the availability of a very affordable fee. Mostly the students struggle to find a college with a fesible fee structure option which can fit in their pockets. If you want a budget friendly and a very good course curriculum for a dental course then you can get admission in other college.

Entrance Preview:

Through Ascoms Entrance ExamScored around 75 out of 150. Wanted to do MBBS but got the BDS and didnot want to waste a year Thats why chose BDS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was 5 years long. Every year i have to go through minimum of three exams. Fourth year is totally hectic as one has to pass 8 subjects in a row (8 theory and 8 practicals)Last year is a internship which is totaly fun and memorable.
