Remarks :
The most positive feature of our college is the availability of a very affordable fee. Mostly the students struggle to find a college with a fesible fee structure option which can fit in their pockets. If you want a budget friendly and a very good course curriculum for a dental course then you can get admission in other college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The students are taught every inch of detail about their course in our college. The lectures, the vivas and the practicals and each procedure related to the course curriculum is taught to the student in such a detailed way that the students always get good academic result in their examination. If we talk about the examination structure it is same as the other dental colleges but the procedure to give examination is explained in such a way that the students are never confused about giving their exams.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities at our college are great because of the availability of a hospital. Our college is a college and also a hospital. The students are provided with practical knowledge in our college because the college is attached to the hospital. Both the college and hospitals are governed by the government of the Jammu and Kashmir which makes the job opportunities and employment opportunities for the student graduating from our college very high paying also.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Because of the interference of government in the administration of our college, the fee of our college is very less as compared to all of the private colleges present in Goa. I highly recommend getting admission in our college because of the feasible fee structure. The college is a very affordable college for all of the middle class students.
Campus Life :
To maintain the social environment of the college there are guest lectures from well known professionals of our country. Also there are seminar, conferences, speeches and debates from our students. There are also workshop which help in the development of the character of the students. Also, there are inauguration ceremonies.
Hostel Facilities :
There are two hostels in our college. One for the boys and one for the girls. The boys hostel has a total of 91 rooms. The intake capacity of the boys hostel is more than 140 students. There is also the availability of mess facilities with a big dining hall. There is a common room which has indoor game facilities. There is also a TV room with seating facilities available. In the girls hostel, there is a capacity of 140 students. Also, there is a mess and a common room plus TV room, residential flats are always available near our campus. Guest houses are also available for special guest and lecturers.
Admission :
Firstly we have to get a valid score in the national entrance exam popularly known as NEET. After getting a valid score in your entrance exam you have to fill up the admission form which is available at the official website of the college. After you are selected in the cut off list of the college, you have to appear at the college campus submitting your original documents.
Faculty :
I have developed a different respect towards the different lecturers that have given me lectures in these long years of my course at the government dental College of Srinagar. Each and every teacher that have taught me one or the other subject is very friendly towards me till now. I know many of my professors personally because of the good personality and the personal conduct of my teachers. They all are very polite, they never say any harsh word to any of the students.
