College management is good in every respect and I will suggest all the students who want to pursue the studies should join Chandigarh University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic curriculum is quite fascinating and interesting. There are two internal exams which include different part of syllabus unit wise. The first unit comes in MST-1 and second unit comes in MST-2 and then in third and final exams, the whole syllabus is there. Internals are of 40 marks and externals are of 60 marks. Along with its assignments, surprise test, multiple-choice question quiz, tutorial sheets are part of internal assessment.
Placement Experience :
It has a wide range of placements. every year a large number of companies are visiting the college for hiring students and offers a handsome amount of packages.
College Events :
Technical events include CU Tech-Fest. Every year students from different colleges and universities participate init and get appreciation and awards for the same. Cultural events have Youth festival, Inter-University championships, CU-Fest etc. Every student has to go through the auditions first and then they will perform either solo or with their team after the selection has been done. The tough competition they have to face during it.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees are feasible if compared with other colleges' fees structure. But still, if anyone could not afford then scholarships are there on the basis of their achievements. Bank Loan facility is also there for them. overall hostel and tuition fees are affordable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No. I had not opted for any scholarship but it is there for a number of students as per their marks and achievements.
Campus Life :
The gender ratio is almost 1:1, the campus is completely diversified. Students from every culture and religion are there on the campus. Extracurricular activities are on full swing, every time along with studies students are engaged in these too. Laboratories are up to the mark and availability of hardware and software with a license are part of the college.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes everyone in and out college premises connected to CU is ready to help in every manner. Seniors are very helpful in both studies and guidance. Combination of seniors and juniors makes a good team which can lead to good results in every field.
Admission :
I was informed by my friend and then I decided to visit the university first. As we know the first impression is the last one, my first visit has inclined me towards it and decided to take admission. The admission process includes registration by filling a form then depositing of fees. Fees have semester tuition fees and hostel fees. Hostel fees can be deposited in two parts for two different semesters. Hostel fees include mess charges of food, mess, gym, etc.
Faculty :
A good platform is provided by the teachers to students. The teacher helps students in each and every aspect. Good academic record teachers are there in the campus many of them have Doctorate level of qualification, which helps students to carry out their research interest to an output.
