Remarks :

There are no bad remarks. The college is good. The faculty is good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes, it is relevant, research-driven, and fair. Yes, the curriculum was groomed to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students, that'd he helpful in securing on-campus placements. No, there were No, industrial visits organized for the students.

Placement Experience :

WIPRO, TCS and other big companies visits our campus. There are No, steps. But the recruitment starts from 11:00 am. Everybody should be dressed official with their resume or cv. Yes, they took special steps to prepare the students for the placement season.

College Events :

Freshers party for new comers. It is held 2 or 3 months after the admission. Then some cultural festivals or management festivals are being held. The freshers party is big. Then the college helds fest. It is also big. The college invites celebrities.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

BBA program fee is 2. 7 lakhs. The mode of payment is either by cash or card. Yes, an extra 10 thousands rupees is to be charged for the booking seats. Yes, the college provides transperancy in the fee-breakdown. We have to pay 45 thousands rupees for every semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, the college did offer me scholarship opportunities. The eligible criteria to get a scholarship is to attain 8+ CGPA in all the semesters.

Campus Life :

The Gender ratio is 3:2. The number of students are huge. College often feature some workshops and cultural parties. The student diversity is huge. Students from every direction has got an admission in this college. Yes, the student diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Hostel Facilities :

I haven't opted for Hostel. I live with my family in this city. The distance from my home to college is not so far. But some of my friends live in hostels. According to them the hostels are good and it's clean.

External Expense : Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors are very helpful. They will provide books and help you with a lot of things. No, I haven't had any interactions with our alumni which in any way has affected my experience.

Admission :

I'm in BBA department so I had to give an entrance exam for admission. If the marks of the entrance exam defines the criteria then you can get admission to this college. And other documents that are required to get an admission are ur 10th and 12th marksheets.

Faculty :

We have 5 secrions and each section has 5 professors for each 5 subjects. I don't know about the qualifications but the age differs from 25 - 40 years. They are very good in providing clarity about the subject to the students. Yeas I might know 1 or 2 teachers that holds an industry-experience.

My journey at DSMS

Placement Experience:

The college has great deals with corporate sector in order to provide placements to the students. However, the BBA students mostly gets oppyrtunity in sales department. Which is not always appealing for the students who doesn't have a interest in sales. So, just that need to be changed. Although, I am talking about 2019, hopefully this has changed now.
