Remarks :

The college is wonderful especially the mechanical and electrical branch are super. Placement cell is very active.

Entrance Preview :

State Engg. Entrance exam cleared got admitted to mechanical engineering. As it was considered the evergreen branch and BIT Sindri has got good repo in mechanical.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Last year one has to clear the specialization like automobile or power plant etc. The electives will be given 2 chances only to clear one has to prepare the visit report , journals consulted etc.

Internships Opportunities :

Tata,SAIL,TCS,Infosys,HEC etc. Stipend to the tune of 5000 to 10000 were offered. One can get himself an opportunity of doing internship by his own also. College helps in sending recommendation.

Placement Experience :

90% of the students were placed through campus interviews. company like Tata,SAIL,TCS,Infosys, HEC, BEL,Bharat earth movers came. Average CTC offered was 5 lakhs.

College Events :

So many clubs are there like eco club,Leo club, Arts club, ISTE amoke of events like freshers party,annual fest, saturnalia etc. Colleges in and around Sindri used to participate as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its a govt college. So fee structure is nominal. 26000 annual including hostel fee mess charges were extra. Fee is to be deposited in one installment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Can take education loan from banks. College do have scholarship for meritorious students offered by the alumni of the college.

Campus Life :

College life is always a thing to cherish. The activities around will keep you engaged and one loves to be a part of it. It provides overall growth opportunity for everyone.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is good with every student getting a seat . Hostel inside the campus. Mess separate for each hostel. With veg and non veg food, quality superb.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

It has a strong alumni network which is spread all over the world. The alumni meet are being organised at college level and city level as well all around the world

Exam Structure :

Two unit tests and a university exam. Unit test of 15 marks each and university exam carries 70 marks.

Faculty :

Mostly professor and highly qualified . Eager to listen the problems and very helpful. Even the associate professors were of good quality . Average age of the faculty memebers are 50.

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.
