Course Curriculum Overview :

The college follows a trimester pattern. Lot of group projects, assignments and presentations are conducted which help students in overall gooming. Lot of lectures are conducted by eminent personalities from industries and acedemicia. Students can work as research assistants with PhD persuers

Placement Experience :

Placements are average. Average placements range between 6-8 LPA. Good companies visit the campus with mid-level executive jobs. Internships are required to be done by students. Stipends are very low for internahips.

College Events :

Dhouruv is the flagship intercollegiate event with intercollegiate participation. Many seminars and guest lectures are organised by various committees and cells in the college. Students can also participate in many events organised by the university administration.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

About 2 lac for 2 year course. Very cheap. Offers the best roi in the industry. Loans are available for eligible students. One of the lowest fees in India for MBA course as this is a government institute. Fee as to be paid annually. No other hidden fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College offers scholarship to backward class students and economically weak students. This scholarship is given by the government of Maharashtra to eligible students

Campus Life :

Campus life is good. The college is located in the University of Pune campus. Lot of diversity in the Bach. Gender ratio is on the lower side. Competitions are frequently held with participations from across the country. Sports infra of the university is available to the students which is world class. Mix of the students is Freshers and experienced.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. Hostel fees are very cheap. About 2000 for six months. However the conditions of hostels is not very great and you will find plenty of accomodations nearby. Students may find the mess and hostel facilites to be in adequate

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Alumini network is greatcollege has been around for more than 30 years. Hence there are a lot of allumini at many good companies.

Admission :

MH CET entrance exam score is basis for admission. Good placements. Marketing, finance and biotech are great courses available. Faculties are great. All have PhDs. The campus facilities are also good. Fees are minimal. It offers the best Return on investment for MBA course any where in the country

Faculty :

A combination of tenured and visiting faculties. Tenured faculties are all PhD holders and deeply involved in acedemic research. The visiting faculties are mostly industry veterans who are very helpful to students with their advice based on their corporate experiences.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

Placement Experience:

SIBM, Pune takes placement of its students very seriously. From the 2nd trimester, we had companies visiting us for internships. More than 95% of students have got internships. We had both MNCs as well as growing startups visiting our campus. The highest package offered last year was around Rs. 36 lakh/annum.

In 2020, SIBM saw some of its best placements, as it does every year. The students received 191 offers, including 63 pre-placement offers. The sectors that participated in the placements were FMCG/FMCD, Conglomerates, BFSI, Technology, and Consulting. Rs.28 LPA was the highest CTC. Abbott India Limited, Asian Paints Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Dell, EMC, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd. were among the companies that took part.
