Good College

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the 6 months (per semester), Internals and externals exam were conducted within 3 months of each other, the Internals covering 25 marks and 75 for external. The 25 marks for the Internals is divided into 10 for tests, 5 for attendence, 5 for assignments and 5 for presentation. The college also helps with inter department seminars and field trips as part of per department for furthur knowledge and research.

Placement Experience :

The college doesn't offer any placement (to my knowledge), but the staff and teachers are ready to help student with their knowledge on how to help students achieve their goal

College Events :

We have semester wise sporting event, some seminars, educational field trips which include people of different tribes and caste, so education wise, we get a alot of knowledge from different people who comes from diffenrt areas, as they would each perform something cultural that's isolated the them

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is moderate but unequal as sporting fees (which should be equal and not bias is paid more by the newer batches and they also have to pay it for each sem as compared to the one annual payment of the older batches) Also people of the same course but of diff ent batches have a diffrent payment gap

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was on the equal side of 50:50, alot of diversity as many people from different states (some overseas students) came there, mostly were Indian with some African students, extra curricular activities include group / departmental discussion, debate, inter competition seminars and the sort.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors were helpful with our studies in some sense, they provide us help with the problems that were facing In class and suggest the important topics for exams.

Admission :

Straight forward interview. The college had a drop off percentage of 50 for general and 45 for scheduled castes and schedules tribes,as I was from the scheduled tribe I was eligeble with 45 the percentage, when I went to the college, the staff cross check and deem fit for interview.

Faculty :

Lack in the number of teachers as compared with other colleges, but as the number of students in the collegee isn't that many on average (department wise of the number of students are low) so it doesn't really affect the teaching process. Some of the teachers are good but be that as may be it gets difficult to complete the syllabus within the 6 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well established and contains subject matters which are in par with current affairs and cover topics which have an impact on the current political and literary scenario. Exams are generally held in a gap of 4 to 5 months which gives well enough time to study and prepare

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some say that curriculum is comprehensive and encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Others say that the university has outstanding syllabi. A curriculum helps teachers present learning in a structured way, which helps students grasp the material more effectively. A proper curriculum also allows teachers to set the pace for learning so that students can understand it efficiently but we are under the calicut universty the didn't give our teachers to chance to finish their syllabus

Admission:

The admission process was very simple. It involved just the submission of my documentation such as 10th and 12th certificates, Passing Certificates, and so on. I had to submit the fees on time as well. That was it as far as the process of admission was concerned.

Placement Experience:

There is a job fair at the end of each year and that is as far as placements go. The job fair has a lot of firms from all over and has a lot of opportunities. There are internships offered, although stipend is not offered. It is a learning opportunity and is treated as such.
