Remarks :
Overall college life here is good we are enjoying our hostel life and there are very good people around us i. e. our seniors which are very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good it contains subjects related to our field IT only and it makes the student industry ready. In one semester there will be 2 minor exams of 20 Mark's, 2 lab practicals and 1 major exam of 40 to 50 Mark's. The curriculum will help you to understand everything about Information Technology, which will help you as a professional a lot.
Placement Experience :
Approx. 80% students get the placement(off campus included). Highest package offered in th year 2019-20 is 42 l. p. a. In Microsoft. Top recruiting companies: Paytm, Amazon, Gojek, Samsung RnD, and many more. Role mainly offered are SDE, Web developer, junior software engineer. Approx 80% get the internship during course in Amazon, Gojek, Nagaro, and many more.
College Events :
In 2020 there is a culture fest was organized called AURORA'20 which was an amazing event of 3 days where various events take place and students from different colleges come there for participation and it's a fun. In 2021 there will be techno-manegiral fest called INFOTSAV will be organized and it will be also very fun. And every year there are two sports fest happen called Twaran and Urja.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is somewhat expensive you have to pay approximately 180000 for an year. Mode of payment will be thourough net banking. Also you have to give some amount of money will you lock college to jossa APPROXIMATELY 15000. And your payment will be full transparent.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college provides the scholarship to the meritorious students who gets good cgpa and then they have to give nothing for tuition fees which is approximately 60000.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great you will enjoy this journey of 4 or 5 years. Gender ratio is like 1:6 i. e. one girl over 6 boys which is hilarious. There are labs but you have to carry your own laptop in it which is an advantage in lab exams. For sports you will get one badminton court in your hostel and in sports complex there are 4 badminton courts, one squash court, one swimming pool and a yoga room.
Hostel Facilities :
It is compulsory to take hostel you can't have any choice regarding this. In first year you will get a room that you have to share with one guy but there are single rooms also you can get them easily, in girls hostel you will get single room from first year itself. Can't say for boys hostel from second year for the new batch whether you will get single room or hall on which 4 to 5 boys will share it. You will get a LAN connection without having any data usage limit.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors and alumni are very helpful. If you ask for any help from seniors they also stand up for you.
Admission :
I opted here because it gives you dual degree program. I choosen it because it's the oldest IIIT in India and its placements are also good. To get here admission you should first give the entrance exam jee mains and then go for counseling and if you will cross the cutoff of the college then you can join here.
Faculty :
APPROXIMATELY 150 lectures are given to us by faculties and lab sessions are excluded from it. All the faculties here are PhD but only 1 or 2 are good in teaching. Some of them are helpful. Concluding that teaching quality is poor, you have to study yourself.
