Remarks :
Overall I had a good experience thourough my college life and will recommend my juniors or friends to study if they want to study in our state only. I certainly see my college amongst the top 3 colleges in our state.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It deals with vast topics across 44 subjects giving a thorough knowledge of each and every aspect related to mechanical engineering as well as a briefing about other branches as well. The exams were chilled out and we had enough time to prepare for it.
Placement Experience :
There are lots of companies which comes every year for campus and jobs. But most of them or rather say are IT companies which only benefits CSE and IT branch students. No core companies visits our campus placement programme.
College Events :
Our college has a fest organised on a yearly basis which is called "VYOM". It holds sports, music, dance and all extra curricular activities. On the final day a celebrity is also invited so as to give a grand closure to the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is similar to other engineering colleges in our state. But It takes around 4-5 thousand more fee per semester than other coleges. It is around 35000 per semester for engineering and also one thousand extra for soft skills training in each semester.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't really have heard of any scholarship programs in my college but it does provide students with education loan facilities by which a student can study by taking loan from the government scheme and pay it after the completion of the course.
Campus Life :
It has laboratory but does not have everything in it. It does lack lots of instruments and the lab assistance is not upto the mark. They can't even explain it properly and needs to improve its infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities :
1800-2000rs for room sharing and may be 3000 rs for a single room in PGs. Hostel fees is 65000 rs for an academic year which include mess facilities and bus facilities. And the room is for 3-4 students on sharing basis in hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
We don't really interact with the seniors and had literally zero interaction with them. They don't have an alumi meet or any interaction process where there is any chance to learn about their experiences and shortcomings.
Admission :
I always wanted to become an engineer. So I took it forward and pursued it. I also took a year drop so as to prepare for engineering entrance exams. I studied in Mechanical Engineering Branch and completed my graduation last year only.
Faculty :
We had a qualified and experienced faculty for guiding us during each semester. Each branch had its our department and its own staff. There was also durations where all the branches were assembled for giving a information in general.
