Remarks :

College of engineering thalassery giving students maximum of freedom. Students can enter or leave the campus any day time. Every faculties and staffs are very helpful and friendly with students. There is no cons i can think of.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College of engineering thalassery affiliated to apj abdulkalam technological university which provides quality education. We have 8 semesters and each of them consisting of two internal assessments and one university exam. Lab exam have internal assessment only.

Placement Experience :

Most of the final year students including me have been placed in various companies.The count of placed students in 2020 batch till now is more than 100. Most of them have more than one job offers. Companies such as Tcs, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro selected huge number of students from our campus. They are getting around 3.4 lakh per annum.

College Events :

Tech fest Arts fest Sports day Union day Onam celebration These are the main events conducted on our campus yearly. In tech fest people from outside the campus are also permitted. Various technologies including artificial intelligence have been demonstrated on the techfest. All the other events are restricted to college students only.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible by comparing with private colleges. Students who got admission in merit seat have to pay 35000 per year. And students studying in management seats have to pay 75000 per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College of engineering thalassery giving lot of scholarship to students. 3 best students in each class can study without tution fee. Students from backward caste only need to pay 1000. Students from obc category get 12000 per year. Sc/st students also get huge amount of scholarships.

Campus Life :

College of engineering thalassery encouraging extra curricular activities of the students. They provide great facility to practice sports events. They conduct music classes in every week. Large number of students getting benefits from these classes.

Hostel Facilities :

College provide hostel facility only for girls. For boys the are required to stay in private hostels. The hostel rooms are good and they only cost Very little amount of money. The college give scholarship to students to pay for hostels.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Our seniors was very helpful. They gave us study materials after their use. The gave us valuable instructions for the betterment of our study. College staffs are also very helpful. College of engineering thalassery is a ragging free campus. The college union is strictly against ragging.

Admission :

First an entrance examination called Keam has to be passed. After getting around 20000 rank in the ranklist you can easily get seat on college of engineering thalassery.You have to be passed higher secondary examination also necessary.

Faculty :

The faculty at college of engineering thalassery are well qualified.Most of them having PHD, They are very helpful to students and teaching is excellent. They treat students as their own children and give maximum of support.

The Rajagiri engineering experience

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
