Best university and reliable campus

Remarks :

The fee is much higher as compared to other government universities and such amount is not affordable for middle class family. University charges high fee for all the events and activities. The positive thing is that the campus environment is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is slightly good and it is approved by the UGC. It includes all the basic subject and advance too. This is a government funded college therefore the labs are good. There is mendeatory research work for each student.

Placement Experience :

University provides 100% placements. Parle, nestle, mother dairy, icici, GSK, Dr. Reddy and much more companies came for the placement and provide good package, 3-5 lacks. My college do not provide internship

College Events :

Xpression, cultural event, aaghaz, Sangam., Foot prints, pre Christmas celebration, onam and nearly all indian festival held by the university each year at grand stage and any students can take participation in the events

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible for non technical courses like BA, BSC, BCOM, it is around 25000-40000 per semester but for the technical courses like B. Tech M. Tech, it is around 70000 per semester. For example my fee is 32000 for msc food tech

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I didn't took loan or scholarship by university. But there is one facility for earning that is work and earn. Student can work in university on hour basis and can earn money. Government also provide scholarships to poor students.

Campus Life :

University have sport club and lots of game held by the university like cricket, basketball, bollyball, kho kho, badminton and there is no racism and ragging. Student have good mind set and there is an equal chances for girls and boys.

Hostel Facilities :

University have own girls and boys hostel separately. Hostels are categorized on the basis of charges and sharing. It is around 12000-20000 per year and we each hostel have thier own mess facility. Lots of PG's are available near university at feasible cost.

Alumni/Alumna :

Some Seniors and alumni are vey good and friendly and helpful. University host alumni day yearly. And the information is also available on college website of alumnis. They are very familiar and ar at good position.

Admission :

I got the admission through cumulative entrance exam. University call the students as per their merit for admission. my merit was 920 and i opted for food technology. If the seats are still vacant after admission then university took admission direct.

Faculty :

Teachers and professors are highly educated with experience and are very helpful. There is both facilities available, black board and projector. Every teacher try his/ her best to teach their subject.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about campus placements but no student is sitting idle since there are other prospects as well in which a student can pursue their work. Research and other government exams. Also it seems 100% placement is provided some students settle for lesser packages depending upon their merit credibility and needs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this because I have an interest in plants as they are the backbone of our mother earth. There are 80% of the students are female and the rest 20% are male in my faculty. In my faculty, 2 professors are from Oxford University and the rest are from LU. Term exams are scheduled after every 5 or 6 months which all are average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue Toxicology because I did my graduation in Microbiology so I always wanted to opt for something that has great research scope. There are 25 seats in the Toxicology program but in my batch, we were only 9 students. There is enough facility to match the program detail. Every teacher has a different set of teaching methods so it depends on what method you like, I really liked how experienced professors use to take classes instead of on new teachers that focus mainly on how many pages you can write for a particular answer. But all teachers are super helpful and will help you in any matter, for me I was living in the hostel so they helped me in all ways. They have 2 internal exams and 1 final exam in each semester followed by 3 assignments and 1 seminar and practical exam. Each semester has 4 subjects so you will have 4 internal exams for each subject that will be of 15 marks, and final exams will be of 40 marks and 80 marks practical.

The placement section is not very good in the college, actually. They provide some internships. And they help us to prepare for placement sessions as how to give interviews and all. If you are a student of the college and have that spark then the placement cell takes

Placement Experience:

The Placements of my colleagues are very fine and make sure most of the students who sit for placements get through and place. Our department is visited by various pharma company like Asian paints, Dr reddy laboratory, jubilant life science limited, in 2018-2019 average placement offer approx 5 lakhs per annum. Approx 30%students selected through placement. Jubliant offers 5 to 7 posts. While Dr reddy laboratory offer 4 post and Asian paints offer 10 posts. Students which are in 4 th semester, participate in a college placement drive. My plane after Msc, I want to do a teaching job.

Remarks:

Amity is huge and great platform for many people. Some of them can really show their talents and can shine very well with all opportunities the college provide them. You can really adapt many good things from here. The only problem I feel is the hectic schedule of my course the time table is really exhausting.
