Remarks :

College management is quite supportive and helps each and every individual in times of problem.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is quite nice, we enjoy every minute of it and learn a lot. The way the faculties teach and make us do different activities help in learning much more efficiently and innovatively. There are 2 semesters in a year though students have to go through semester exams twice in order to complete 1 year.

Placement Experience :

No architecture college takes the responsibility of placing their students. As it depends solely on the work of student.

College Events :

There is an annual fest 'Sanketh'. Annual Alumni-meet 'Maitryee'. Freshers and farewell parties along with many guest lectures. This year SDCA extended their limits and invited 2 dignitories from UK in order to make the interests of students into the course.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is quite feasible, and quite affordable in comparison with other colleges that charge way too much and provide not many facilities. The hostel compared to others is quite cheap too. The fee system is quite transparent, one always know where and how their money is being spent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I haven't applied for any loan or scholarship program. Although there are scholarship programs from the university itself.

Campus Life :

Campus life is quite nice, Both boys and girls are allowed on the campus. Gentry is almost okay. Different department buildings and areas allotted, so students don't mix up. There is a canteen in the almost centre of the college, providing seating 100-120 people at a time.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are quite cheap when compared to many other colleges in the city. Free Wifi system (24hrs.), a 4-time meal in mess, sports and other equipment available, Gym for fitness and maintenance of students, Common room for students to enjoy and watch movies, sports matches and news on T.V.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is quite strong, Annual Alumni-meet 'Maitryee' is hosted by the college to help the students connect, interact and learn from their seniors.

Admission :

I got admission through UPSEE, the annual state entrance exam of AKTU. I was quite determined to pursue Architecture due to the interest and love I possess for the surroundings and mother nature. After clearing the entrance exam, through counselling one can get admission into the colleges they prefer, or the ones they are alotted.

Faculty :

The faculties are very genuine and helpful. Many of them are practising architects, thus they have proper and complete knowledge as well as field experience which they tend to pass on to the students each passing minute. Many of the faculties are pass out students of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I want to see the colours of this world. I am really passionate about buildings, exploring things, developing skills and learning about new things. The faculty plays a good role in students' careers. They hold workshops with the classes to share more and more knowledge with the students. The qualification of the faculty is too good some of them are PHD and IITians. There are two types of exams Mid Sems and End Sems. And theory subjects need more time to study to pass the exams and practical subjects require a whole semester to gain the credits.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The terms were on time mostly and it was easy to pass if we were attending lectures and assignments on time as it is a practical based course rather than much based on theory. The teachers were helpful in most of the scenarios but some subjects were not handled properly as the faculty teaching it used to keep changing. Rest mostly all of the teachers were good.

Placement Experience:

But I guess the placements starts somewhere between the 8th and 10th semesters. And my future plan after the architecture is to establish my own private business.

The college management is very money minded. They focus more on how to make more money and won't financially help in any events.
