Remarks :

The college offers a great college life with a lot of events, experience and information out of classroom and great networking possibilities. But the college is about average in the academic side.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college follows AICTE guidelines and is affiliates 'A.P.J Abdulkalam Technical University, Kerala'. A good amount of students are placed to various companies from the college and it about 75% for my department. Industrial visits are organised for 2nd and 4th-year students each year.

Placement Experience :

College has a good placement history with students getting placed in MNCs like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro etc through campus placements and to giant companies like Amazon out of the campus. Previous year 16+ companies visited the campus with 70+ job offers. The Training and Placement Cell of the institute centrally handles Campus Placement for the Engineering students. The Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process. Students are given career guidance starting from the first year.

College Events :

In Kerala, we have a lot of cultural festivals as part of our tradition. Those festivals are also being celebrated in the campus also. Other than traditional celebrations we have Union day, Arts day and College day to showcase the extracurricular abilities of the students. There is also a dedicated event for the sports concentrated students to perform. Tech fest is conducted in the college every year, the previous year it was 'AI Fest' which was conducted by the support of the whole campus and this year it is conducted by each department association by there own. Various Football, Cricket and other sports tournaments are also conducted in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For merit seat, management seat and NRI seat the tuition fees are 35000 INR, 65000 INR and 100000 INR respectively for each year. Payment of about 25000 INR will be required as additional fees for various reasons. Various scholarships are also available for students satisfying the requirements. The college provides transparency in fee-breakdown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Various scholarships are provided for the students within the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria vary between the gender, caste/religion, annual family income, mark scored, etc. Students can apply for the scholarships online.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio in the campus is about 50:50. The institution has a college union which is regulated by the students. The institution has a lot of campus communities like IEEE, DSC, TinkeHub, Pehiya, Hack Club, Music band etc. The college has a good eco-friendly campus which offers great scenery as it is on a hill.

Alumni/Alumna :

The college offers a great alumni network and an alumni meet is conducted annually. We have some alumnus within campus working for startups and the offers good idea on various aspects of the technology.

Admission :

Students get admission to government undertaken colleges in Kerala according to their entrance exam rank, here it is KEAM which is an entrance exam conducted by the authority of higher studies-Kerala. I chose this college because I was curious to learn Computer Science for my graduation and I found this is a government undertaken college which is comparatively near to my hometown.

Faculty :

The faculties are having good subject knowledge experience. The college has high aged faculties with PHD who are highly experienced and some nearby passout Mtech holders. In my department we don't have high experienced faculties, We have middle-aged faculties with good subject knowledge. In the Computer Science department, we have 6 teaching staff and 6 technical staff.

Students who have completed their sixth semester can start their placements. Infosys, Wipro,TCS, digitalcore, USTGlobal , Sutherland, Accenture etc had taken placements from last years. The average package starts from 120000 lpa and highest was 700000lpa. This year itself more than 800 students was placed in different companies.
