Remarks :

Overall, the university is very knowledge oriented and advocates a lot of good habits. The rules and regulations though are a little strict which may otherwise seem unnecessary. But to be here, we alll must know how to behave like n adult

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is well structured and comprehensive. It covers a variety of topics and has a lot of scope for research, practical learning, application to real life and logical thinking. The assignments push students to critically evaluate every information they come across.

Placement Experience :

Placements depend highly upon the profile of the students and there is no guarantee for the same. Buffer period between each semester is given to do an internship as a mandate but we are required to find one for our own selves.

College Events :

Every week there are a lot of events that take place in the campus. Depending upon what interests you one can join and enjoy. These events are formal and are conducted on a large scale. Participation is often voluntary as well

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is pretty high. For my course the fee for one year is one lac which is to be deposited in advance itself. For non-business household it is difficult to pay such a huge sum in one go.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is some provision for giving scholarships to students. The forms are rolled out and students who are seeking one are asked to apply. These forms are then scrutinised by the class teacher and checked for eligibility and forwarded further for processing.

Campus Life :

There are n number of areas for engaging in sports and extra co-curricular activities. Adequate grounds are also available to play the sport in the right way. Equipment and coaches are also available for someone who would want to learn.

Hostel Facilities :

No I have not opted for hostel. The infrastructure of the university is top notch. We have smart boards to aid in teaching and proper canteen, library, study areas, classrooms are built. The campus is full of light and fresh air.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are definitely very helpful. They will guide you and help you get accustomed to the rules and regulations of the institution. Seniors often take the duty of familiarizing the juniors with what they will see. They are very helpful contacts as well.

Admission :

The first step to admission was to fill out an online application form. After filling the form, a hard copy with all the photocopies of the required documents was posted to the university. After one month of this process, an entrance exam was scheduled as per the location convenience of candidates. The entrance exam results came out within a week and the cleared candidates were called for an interview at the campus. Before the interview, documents were verified followed by a round of essay type question test. Then each candidate was called for a one on one interview. After two days the results were declared and selected candidates had to report at the main campus or the campus allotted for processing the admission. Admission fee was transferred in advance and another interview with the vice chancellor was conducted with parents at the campus. This was the final seal to being admitted into the college.

Faculty :

The majority of faculty is a PHD degree holder and are very experienced. There is a lot of diversity as well in terms of age, gender, subject matter interests, etc. The faculty is very experienced and have on field experience as well as adequate theoretical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practicals were not well taught or prioritised. it is very important for us to learn and train in Psychometry but it wasn't seen to that that every student is aware of the psychological tools. Curriculum could be more vast and the students can be made to choose their specialisations based on their merits and strengths rather than a matter of choice alone

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it particularly focuses on the clinical side of Psychology and I was always keen on learning about psychopathology. The exams are also very spread out making the students not stress about academics a lot. The practical exposure should be given and the assignments should include more research according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because I had an AIM for that as my career. I wanted it to be my passion, source of income, etc. The faculty were all more than 5 years of experience and in my batch, 70 students were there. The best about the teaching is that they are so smoothly with the syllabus. The term tests were conducted based on the completion of 3 - 4 chapters. The level of difficulty was moderate also they used to guide where we had done a mistake. And overall teaching is good.
