Remarks :

Location of the college is perfect since it is not in the outskirts of the city. Good and maintained Environment. Large campus area with proper basketball court and lawns. However the college might be short of classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The equipments for the practicals were generally available except for some rare equipments. Never had a delayed session for lab. There are students who are doing their research works on a daily basis and there have been no issue.

Placement Experience :

The college does not have campus recruitment process and also does not provide internship. A student herself has to find an internship and inform the college faculty for NOC. However the teachers help us in finding good places for internship.

College Events :

The college holds two really big events in the month of october and February. DJ evening is held in October and have different stalls of food, goodies games etc. In February, the annual college fest is held which goes on for two days. On the second day that is the star night a celebrity/ artist is invited to perform.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of the college is feasible. It is paid only in one instalment in the beginning of college during the time of admission. The total annual fee of the course is Rs. 29000. Also Rs. 3000 only in the first year for examination form.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college provides scholarship on the basis of merit and income of the family. The meritorious students who need help with the fees can apply for these scholarship. Also from time to time the college sponsors department scholarship for students.

Campus Life :

Several functions are held in the college. From small department events to Annual College Festival, every event is organised by the students with the help of teachers. Events like sports day, founders day, college fest, hostel mela, alumni meet etc along with society functions are held.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel building is itself in the college campus close to the classrooms so it is really convinient for the hostellers and are never late for classes. Hostel provides vegetarian meals for the students and has proper bathrooms and toilets.

External Expense : Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors here are great. We mixup really well. They're really open without having the thought to maintain the senior junior relationship. Most important is that they help us with the studies without having to ask. Also there are alumni meet once a year. Anyone can attend the meet and get to know the alumni and their struggle with life.

Admission :

The course got me interested and also future potential scopes were high. I was selected in the college through merit base. There are marks cutoffs on which day the particular students can apply for the college and get admission starting from the highest marks. I got in in the third cutoff.

Faculty :

Most of the teachers are qualified from good colleges and institutions. The head of the department tries her best to provide the students with seminars and different programs. However some few teachers lack focus in their students.

Best college in South campus. Recommended for Maths major

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Ramjas : A "che" to the "mistry"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
