Remarks :

Devagiri is a vibe once felt is hard to let go. I know everyone says the same about their college but I must say that even though there is some problem in facualty the non teaching staff especially those is cafeteria is family.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As journalism students we had very chill semesters from beginning which included watching a lot of movies, documentaries attending interesting seminars, media visits just the last semester was a bit hectic with all the final year projects and all.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the college does help with doing internships. Our HOD in particular would search about all these internship going around and inform us and also helped us to get the best (like in reputed newspapers and media agencies).

College Events :

Nirvana (is BBA fest and is national level now). Envy (computer science department fest). Maa(media fest). Then there is college day, arts day, every departments fest (which is around 18). Then onam, cristmas etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There is self finance and aided. For self finance courses it requires a minimum of 75% marks only and fee structure is 30000 while joining and 15, 000 per semesters (total 6 semesters). In aided department you should have atleast 99 - 100% to get admission and for them semester fee goes somewhere near 1500 only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My college is the number one college in the state for informing and availing scholarships to students. There are numerous and because I was studying in self finance we didn’t had that much but for the aided students I know my friend who had received like 50,000.

Campus Life :

My college gives importance to sports and also have programmes promoting girl students to engage in sports. One such programme is when girl students complete a certain number of hours in this training they can avail 6 marks which can be added to their sememster exam results.

Hostel Facilities :

No I am a dayschooler but I know my friends who opt hostel facilities. The rent goes around 5500 per person including food and room will be shared by 3 - 4 people. College hostels have limited seats so they opt private hostels.

Alumni/Alumna :

They did donate us our old books and study materials and more than that they were really helpful in cheering us up and it felt more of like a family to us. Our seniors were the persons who helped us to decide which course to do after this.

Admission :

I wanted to pursue in journalism and in my district my college was one of the only college that provided the course. Also the institution itself is very reputed that is, the label of being a student in reputed institution in inevitable for reputed companies to hire us.

Faculty :

Facualtys are qualified in terms of their education but some definitely had problem in keeping the class together as it was a bunch of people with very different opinions and those who did not fear anything when it came to expressing it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I strictly does not in believe in studying political science and history while doing a degree course of Economics subject because they are completely different. I had political science and history until 2 years in 4 semesters in total. I prefer to give mathematics for us as it would have been easy for us now, when we have much bigger questions to solve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before I'm joining the course, I had many expectations but after 3 semesters the syllabus started becoming useless and complicated. There are many topics in the syllabus which is not have to study. It's like 40% main topics and the rest are stuffed for nothing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was BA Communicative English which was a 3 years course it was really knowledgeable and good, teachers were perfectly professional and had full knowledge on the subjects. It was a self financed program so the fees is little higher compared to other courses. We have two internships in 3 years one is for teaching and other is for journalism mass communication and all were good and effective. The college also provides placement where we'll known companies come and provide placement for the students. It is also assist we'll. Overall a very good college with a family environment and good staffs
