Remarks :

Fun and Memorable experience in college but can't say the same abt some of the management departments.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Satisfactory curriculum but not that relevant to other courses. No, the curriculum is not completely groomed yo provide industrial specific knowledge.No Industrial visits were organised for the students by the university.

Class Size : 6Course Fees : INR 34000 per year

Placement Experience :

Good, but can do much better. But really need to word hard yourselves.A good amount of students gets placed

College Events :

There's a lot of events from different fields and organised by different departments. Few of them are rose fest, cyanide, vortex, Punjab university fest, youth snd heritage festival, udbhava Srishti, vidhushi, anant, udyami, Ursa, scitron etc. Some of them are really grand.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The feasible amount, details can be checked at the university website, All the details for the fee are given, no additional charges are there that needs to be paid for admission except for the fee paid during application form submission during admission.

Fees and Financial Aid :

No, I didn't take any loan for this course, and no scholarship opportunity is being been availed for the same.

Campus Life :

Huge campus and really memorable and fun time spend while roaming after classes. The student centre is like a hotspot for all which is most of the time fully crowded. The AC Joshi library is huge and great, Not interested in any kind of political drama.

Alumni/Alumna :

very friendly and helpful seniors. Good experience and great interaction with all of them.

Admission :

I Had interest in this particular field and Panjab university which is a prestigious and reputed university offered this course so I took admission here. You can get admission through GATE or on merit bases (marks obtained in graduation).

Faculty :

A good amount of the tentative numbers of lecture in each course and taught by some of the very highly qualified faculties but for a few courses, the faculty is not available. Some lectures are really relatable and interesting but few seem to be just theoretical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the course curriculum could have been better because it had subjects and topics that we have already covered in bachelors so there was no point for them in the masters. But few subjects were new to me and i had to do a lot of work done to get through them.

Placement Experience:

placement in last 2 has decreased. less companies are coming to campus. and the companies coming to campus ask for 7 or above CGPA throughout whil make student not eligible for placement... many students have good skill but because of criteria they are not allowed to sit in placement other thing about placment is you have toh oay extra 10k to sit in placement drives. and if you got selected in one company you will not be able to sit in other drive...

Placement Experience:

the placement cell at the Centre for Master of engineering Studies and Planning is available here. our collage works So hard to ensure that the students from every batch get an opportunity to intern at some reputed firm( be it research or corporate) as well as are placed well at the end of the course. Most of our final placements are in the form of PPO. Moreover, the batch strength isn't huge, so the probability of any person not getting placed on completion of the course is very less. So it is high percentage about 60-70%. My plans after getting the degree is to take admission in any good company i got. There are pretty much availability for jobs so its so good job opportunities after this degree.

More than 100 recruitments were done by more than 25 companies offering a minimum package of Rs.10 LPA. 50 top MNC's gave the offer letters to more than 500 students.

Entrance Preview:

Gate 2015. It was very difficult to get score in gate. I was preparing fir last 1 year. And I crack that entrance exam with a good rank in gate. And this college is too good for M.tech.
