Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was pretty updated and was specifically curated in order to make it industry oriented. We learned a lot and the curriculum made us capable enough to deal with the day to day challenges of working in a corporate. Our dual specialisation was divided into four semesters with a mandatory internship after second semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are top notch in our college. Many students would opt out of the placement process. Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon are some of the frequent recruiters from our department. Average packages which were offered during my batch was around 4-6 LPA. Highest package offered was around 13 LPA by Amazon.
College Events
Numerous department centric events and cultural events are organised in the Amity campus itself. It literally helped us taking our mind off from the hectic academic schedule. College is pretty lively and many events are organised in which all the Amity groups across the country and abroad take part. SANGATHAN which is the annual sports meet and award ceremony, is one such gathering of people from different places and background.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My first year fee 3.7 lacs which was to be paid on a semester-wise basis. This fee covered my registration fee, examination fee, tuition fee, library fee, and a caution deposit. Though, for the second year, I paid around 3.87 Lacs. It was a pretty reasonable, at least in terms of the placement and the standard of teaching.
Fees and Financial Aid
Meritorious students are offered fee concession on the basis of their marks in the graduation and overall academic performance. Students can get as much as 100% fee waiver. Many trust funds also offers scholarships depending upon various eligibility criteria.
Admission
Admissions process includes applying at the college with your academic details including marks scored in graduation. After that I was invited at the college for the counselling round, where I attempted a essay writing test and an interview round. Interview round was pretty rigorous, but in the end I was granted admission to the college.
Faculty
Faculty was pretty accessible and supportive throughout our course. We connected with them at a deeper level. They were more like a mentor than the professors. And with such an extensive industry experience they made it easy to translate the theoretical learning into practical and industry oriented knowledge.
