Remarks :
I am pretty convinced by my choice of opting for this college. I always wanted to do an MBA and acquire a managerial level job in a well-established company. NAARM has been the bridge between my aspirations and the fulfillment of my dreams. I would definitely recommend this college for students seeking higher education in the agriculture sector.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is pretty robust and updated. The two years PGDM is further divided into six trimesters including a compulsory internship after the third semester. In addition to the core management subjects, we also studied some elective subjects. AN 8 weeks summer internship was also mandatory for our program, including a live project spanning over 2-3 weeks.
Placement Experience :
Placements are the top class in our college. Companies from different domains would visit our campus. Most of the hiring was done in the sector of food processing, warehousing, Retail, and Input. Some of the brightest students from our batch even had two-three offers in their hands before completion of the course. The average package offered was around 5 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are available for meritorious students or students from a financially weaker background. Scholarships are awarded in the form of monetary benefits mostly or in some cases, they would offer a fee relaxation, as per the guidelines prescribed by the state.
Campus Life :
Many events are celebrated in our college throughout the year. Our college believes in celebration of life along with preparing for the future. Sports day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and so was the annual fest. SANKALP was the premier management event organized with the collaboration of NPAA.
Admission :
I applied online for the PGDM program with my MAT exam score. College creates a merit list based on a number of factors like academic performance, entrance exam scores, etc. I was called for the group discussion round and PI round. My brother has done his masters from this college, that's why I chose this college.
Faculty :
We shared a pretty good bond with our faculty members. They would share their personal experiences to make learning more fun. Like one of our finance professors had worked in a brokerage firm and shared his experiences about corporate valuation and how stock prices fluctuate. And how we can leverage this information for our personal benefit.
