Remarks :

The postivie thing of our college is its Ambeince, Quality teachings, and being on of the oldest colleges in west bengal its a heritage to us and as a student i am proud to be a student of this college. In academic ways it clears all the basic and essential qualities needed in terms of studies which made it to be one of the top colleges in west bengal. The only negative thing according to me is that our canteen is open only for our professors not for us which is very unfair.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our Course structure is new, it is hard but brief. Honestly, it covers all the subjects that are important regarding Finnance and Accounting. However exam happens in every six months which is not so comfortable for all to be prepared but still it is competitive and hard to get 60 percent if someone is not giving his best and yeah, to be very honest the exam days are hectic.

Placement Experience :

No. Our college does not provide internship and it does not give placements. Its a government college and no atipend system is provided here for under graduates but our college is special for studing law. our college has a specific law department it may give placement though.

College Events :

Our college organises some cultural festivals which includes Freshers party to welcome the freshers and it also organises Anual Cultural program which happens in the month of february. Our college also arranges Picnics and Teachers day celebration, saraswati puja etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our college is government college, so the fee structure is Quite Affordable. We have to pay rs. 950 in every semster which includes Semester fee of rs. 370, Lab fee of rs. 100, Electricity charges of rs. 50, processing fee of rs. 20, Tution fee of rs 410.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college provides concession to the students who has scored atleast 60 percent or 6. 0 CGPA overall. Swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship which is offered by wb government is also granted, 60 percent marks is needed in every semester to avail this scholarship.

Campus Life :

Gender Ratio might be 6:4. Extra curricular activities are also here in our college for example a NCC camp js being arranged with all the NCC cadedts through out last couple of years. Labs are also there for multiple purposes. Each department has their own labs. No Molestation, political issues, Ragging can be seen here.

Hostel Facilities :

No. I dont need to have a hostel, my college is not so far from my home. It typically takes 40- 45 minutes from my home to go to my college. I use bus as a transport to go there so i decieded not to have a hostel.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, they are very helpful, specially the General secretary of our college is very helpful. They also help in Saraswati puja, arranging cultural programs and academic issues. They are always with us to help us.

Admission :

I knew the Commerce Department is very good and it has efficient teachers as well which made me choose this college and the ambience of our college is excellent which was ofCourse my first impression. Then i appiled to this college and as my merit score was high i got a chance easily an then i got admitted here.

Faculty :

Faculty is brilliant, all the issues are being solved. They also has several computers and projectors only for teaching a particular cours. projects works are brief and Labs has all essential things to teach a special Course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course circullam is mediocre. The staffs are well learned but many teachers remain absent and the course is not done thoroughly in the classes .. at the end of the day you yourself have to study making notes to pass the exams. the teaching of staffs are just an overview or rather a skeleton structure of the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in literature so I chose to study English literature. There are plenty of things to learn about and trust me it's not how people think it is. It gives you a deep insight of history too. Speaking of improvement in course curriculum, I think the college needs to have equal rules for everyone. I mean there are some teachers who only favour their favorites. And the provide very low marks in assignments. So I guess it needs to be fixed The duration of a class is 60 mins. Somedays there are total 5 class a day and some days just 2, depends on the shedule. The education system is really strong and the professor doesn't only teach syllabus but also teaches other things which can be very helpful for PhD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always liked psychology since the day i took the subject in class 11-12. I was very determined to persue psychology in my graduation as well as masters. The curriculum convinced me more to study this subject and know more about it. The curriculum involves all the aspects including it's applications in the real world. I personally don't think they should make much changes to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is enriched with literature works by British and American writers which is really enjoyable to read and the Teachers make it more exciting. Teachers are really good at explaining every single point in the syllabus. In the history of literature part they give us notes about each and every write a and there works so that we are familiar with most of the part of our syllabus. They does not teach only for the exams but they make sure that we learn everything with depth. We have a semester exams in every 6 month but sometimes it becomes 7 or 5. But the teachers are really supportive so that we don't panic in our exams.

Placement Experience:

Training and placement cell complements the efforts of the members of faculty by organizing value-added programs and providing career counseling and placement opportunities to students. It acts as the major interface with the corporate sector and helps develop the industry-academia interrelationship. The cell organizes certain orientation programs, grooming sessions, mock interview sessions for students of each stream. Moreover, the cell organizes various summer internship programs for students to provide them with hands-on experience, thus introducing them to the professional environment. The cell continuously coordinates with various industries and organizations for the placement of students. It actively obtains feedback from organizations and conveys it to respective departments which, in turn, trains students accordingly, thereby increasing their employability. At Heritage, an all-out effort is made to groom the students for enhanced employability.

Admission:

I got affirmation in this university based on 10+2 marks. The base imprints expected to get a confirmation in this school is 50% in 10+2. To get affirmation, first, the up-and-comer needs to fill the structure. As I have done B.A. from this college, my affirmation depends on the legitimacy list.

Placement Experience:

The college gives great positions to the students. Numerous seniors from my seashore were put with acceptable compensation bundles. Numerous students likewise landed government positions. Likewise, a portion of the students got entry-level positions in all around rumoured firms. I also got an internship at this university. After that, I was placed in the same firm.
