Remarks :
Most of the crowd consists of maharashtrians. Including the staff and the teachers. This can be a positive or a negative point depending on the person reading it. Over all the college is great. I studied for 5years there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exam structure now has changed as the college has become Autonomous now but it was same as Mumbai University when i was a part of it. the course structure is good. They provide a lot of courses. In all fields such as science commerce and arts.
Placement Experience :
There is internship availability under PHD researchers but not sure if the college appoints them or the researchers. The stipend is around 10000 rs. The workload for the stipend is also very hefty.
College Events :
1. Sports day 2. Republic day 3. Independence day 4. Rose day 5. Sari day 6. Tie day 7. Founders day 8. Abdul kalam's b'day 9. Shiv jayanti Many more days are celebrated on a day to day basis depending on the developments made.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Yeah the fee structure is quite feasible. You can pay the fees as wholesome amount or in installments as per your convenience and after a discussion with the Principal and have to submit a written application for the same
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are various scholarships for the financially backward people. Also scholarship are provided to the academically excelling students. Loans are made available through the linked bank for the needy students
Campus Life :
Gender ratios are equal. There are elected president in college. There are various cultural programmes. There is gender equality. The sports are given lot of attention, There are teams who play for national and international level too
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are basic and secure as the girls hostel is located in the college campus. the warden is strict and polite. There is security for 24hours and the food provided is homemade and good quality.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yeah alumni network and senior students all are helpful and maintain a good network even after college. There is a good chance of placement as the professors are known to a lot of company owners. The alumni also is of great help in this area.
Admission :
I opted for Microbiology chemistry and physics for my graduation and only two colleges provided knowledge of microbiology so i opted this college but as years passed i became more inclined to Chemistry.
Faculty :
The college comprises mainly of old and experienced professors and a lot of young and enthusiastic professors both male and female. There is a lot to learn as there are PHD students and alot of researchers in campus.
