A good University to learn language

Remarks :

It's a very good campus when it comes to education and all. But it's very small in size that's the only con about it. And coming to sports only badminton courts are in good condition. There's not much you can play in the small ground in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It's a very interesting course and you get a lot of exposure in the university itself to mold a good hold on any language. The faculty is excellent. You get to know people from other countries too. There's a language lab as well.

Placement Experience :

Yes. In some cases there are internships for bright students. I never went so i don't know about stipends and experience. And there's a placement cell in the campus. Every year some companies come and recruit students after interviews and all.

College Events :

Yeah. There is an annual fest in the month of February and there's also an annual fresher's party in august. Apart from them there are fests in each department as well like European Languages and Asian languages.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's very feasible. It'll cost around 15,000rs. For the whole BA program. I don't know about MA but it's a little more like 20000 or so. And there's a mess fecility in the campus which would cost around 2500 a month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There's this scholarship called merit cum means for the students who are in hostel. It'll provide 9000rs per annum. 1000 per every month and a 1000 as a book allowance per year. And other than this you can get any UGC scholarship from outside.

Campus Life :

Yep. There's a football ground where even cricket and volleyball are played( it's very small). And there will be tournaments every month in any sports. There are 3 badminton courts as well in the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

No. I have not opted for the hostel facility but from friends i know it will cost around 3000 per semester and the rooms are for 2 students each with enough furniture for both. There are seperate hostels for boys and girls.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. They are very helpful. I am not yet graduated so i can't tell about this much. But normally the alumni do help by posting about job vacancies and such in the whatsapp group and all. You can also contact them for any issues

Admission :

You have to clear an entrance test and the top 20 members will be given seats. The university has entrance exams for BA MA and PhD covering around 24 courses. For PhD there's an interview after you clear the entrance exam.

Faculty :

They are highly qualified and have got years of experience in teaching. They teach in a very innovative and engaging way and with the 20 student limit in each class it's very interesting to learn along with your mates.

EFLU does have a placement cell. Companies like Amazon come every year for placement. Although the percentage of placement is not really good. One can get a placement if he/she is extremely good and have good communication skills.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are like if they get any information or updates of the company they forwards to the All the whats app classes groups and in notice boards. They advise the students to follow the standard resume templates. Students must carry one folder with them containing a hardboard, Attested Mark sheets, certificates, passport size photos, resume copies and also students are advised to go through the company websites for more insight about the company. Final year students are eligible for only one job. well! In my department we have very few placement options hardly one or two get placements that too not sure(25%). My plans after completing this course are to pursue my masters and work for any company as a part-time job during pursuing my masters.
