Remarks :

Firstly, I had a lot of friends and relatives in this college who always used to appreciate the way the college functions. It has a high market value and stands amongst the top colleges of the city. What caught my attention was that being such an amazing college, there was no entrance exam and admissions were purely on the basis of merit. The college's website is so pleasing and well to advertise themselves that I couldn't think of any other college after I went through their prospectus. I was majorly impressed by their cultural and sports sector which did not fail to meet my expectations. In short, the college is a great platform itself for hidden talent.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is beautifully designed as per the market expectations. No part relevant to the course is skipped just because it is no more trending, as I could spot in other colleges. The faculty are the best in their own way, and most importantly market professionals I'm their own fields having immense knowledge about the subject they handle. There are new professors for each and every subject every semester except for the HOD and AHOD teaches one subject per semester. It was not difficult to pass under the guidance of such gems but all you require is CONSISTENCY.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship programmes offered by the college off-campus in multiple fields. They provide contacts and suggestions as per the semester requirements. There are paid as well as unpaid internships provided. The average stipend in those is around 3-5k. The college fests also provide certificates to the students who worked in them in different sections, which add up to the credentials.

Placement Experience :

The college doesn't offer any in campus placements but the college recommends the students a lot of jobs and internships. The college provides job opportunities wherein only the college students are given first preference. Internships are also provided by the college during the course. So even if there is no campus selection, the college holds extreme market value and helps you find best opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees are around 15k (keeps fluctuating by few rupees) every semester. There are caste-based scholarships provided by the government which the colleges provide. Unlike other colleges, this college has external scholarships for open category students, but merit-based which are hosted by non-governmental organizations affiliated with the institution. It's a very affordable course, especially when we think of the returns i.e. the campus selection. There is no such campus but yes they assist you in finding jobs and internships (during and after the course ).

Campus Life :

According to me , Ruia offers the best of the best campus life . The college doesn't really have a very huge campus but whatever it has , has life greater than any other college. You'll find people performing and practicing in the corridors, garden area, and as well as the auditorium. The college has everything it can provide the students. There is a well-established library with thousands of books and most attractively the reading hall where you can sit quietly and do whatever you want to .It's like free space offered by the college for ambitious students. Apart from these sports and cultural activities in the college have a big plus . There are multiple events that take place every year. The whole of college has around 20 fest all round the year pertaining to different departments. It is extremely pleasure to be in campus .

Interview Experience :

As I mentioned earlier the admissions were purely merit based on the Class 12 performance . There were no entrances, group discussions, or Interviews for the same . There was an orientation programme held by the college which put light over the whole process of three years which included parents as well .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses they have a lot of courses but they don't have any of the courses like with honours and they just have major and minor subject and they don't even have anything like new new invention they are testing on students like vsc new subject iks new subject OE new subject major minor new subject they have a lot of subject but every subject is waste of time .. teaching method is worst because they still teach through black boards and they don't even tell us what they are teaching they just come and tell about a topic and then started reading it and then class ends before it's time .

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onward. Several renowned companies like ABC Corp, XYZ Ltd, and DEF Inc visited the campus, offering a diverse array of job roles. The highest package offered was around $100,000 per annum, while the average package stood at $60,000 per annum across various profiles including software development, marketing, and consulting. Around 85% of students secured placements in reputable companies. However, if campus placements weren't offered, many students pursued internships or sought employment through off-campus drives. As for my plans, I aim to explore internship opportunities in my field of interest to gain practical experience and eventually pursue a career aligned with my specialization.

Admission:

The admission to the Bachelors of Mass Media course is done on the basis of merit list provided by the college. The students will be selected on the basis of the percentage they secure in the 12th grade.

Placement Experience:

Not all media graduates are placed through on campus recruitment drive, but many international and national companies like Tata, TCS etc come to our campus and offer the graduating students many job opportunities.

The college is small but I don't care as the BMM department is superb. The best department in the college is BMM, so the quality is also very high. The campus is small, but the canteen makes good food.

Entrance Preview:

I wanted to study at Symbiosis in Pune. Appeared for my entrance exam for the same. My score was below the passed mark. After which the best college in mumbai was Jai Hind and Bhavans. Bhavans had my name in its very first list and hence chose to complete my BMM from there.

Placement Experience:

As mentioned earlier though Bhavans has a placement cell, we never got to know about any companies coming in for offering job. I had to find a job on my own, searching for openings in the correct field.
