Remarks :

Experience was good. Dont know about your academic development as it purely depends upon u, but as for personality development more than required opportunities and facilities are provided.

Entrance Preview :

I wrote CAT, but they accept almost every exam. After the entrance exam, there are 2 interview rounds. One ia taken by any UBS elite and second by "one of 60 Ceos " those who endorse UBS.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I did a one year MBA, UBS specialised at my time for the course. Extremely prestigious course offered only by only 3 elite colleges in India. UBS is one amongst them, SP Jain and Great lakes being the other two. Equal focus on practical learning as well, or i can say, more focus. Late night classes, events, fests, one hour deadline assignments, 100 Hrs Case study competitions, team building events, trekking , clubs so many things for practical learning. Other language classes, in my time, we were offered French, mandarin & German. As for electives, plenty of them are available. Managing Creativity, Ecom and Digi marketing, Consumer behavioral analytics being the star courses. Also, They have a "Thompson Reuters simulation Room" , a one of a kind in Asia. Where you can have a realtime experience of stock exchanges etc

Internships Opportunities :

As we were for a one year program, no internship provided. Though there were optios for LG, CCd etc but few people attended. Internships was without stipend.

Placement Experience :

College was new at my time, so placements were few. Placement opportunities are up for grab but not necessarily as per one's interest. Also rarely any company comes for Campus placements, as college is based in karjat, students need to go to companies for the job interviews arranged by college. Some major companies at my time were Nomura, Lexi, Dun and Bradstreet, ATG tyres, Hiranandani, Lodha builders, Club Mahindra, etc. Average package was around 6.5 lpa

College Events :

There were so many fests and events that i cannot name all. Rush 4 Rush is the one, UBS is famous for. 100 hr case study competitions, Midnight Sunrise Several Trekking expeditions as college is build between hills of Karjat, a very beautiful place.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My time it was 6.65 lakhs for course, 10,000/month for hostel and food. Exam form was for Rs 1500 Laundary and Other charges as per use.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No scholarship etc, but college helps in getting loan from Central Bank of India.

Campus Life :

Ample opportunities provides by college. Several competitive events and functions happen time to time. Sports competitions too happen, debates clubs, marketing clubs, news clubs etc happen

Hostel Facilities :

In one word, "Awesome" best part of UBS is hostels are very luxurious. Seperate singles room , with attached toilets. Its like a 4bhk flat for 4 students.

Alumni/Alumna :

Mine was only the third batch of the college so alumni was limited. But now its almost 10-12 batches done, so many alumni meets organised since then. Network is great. People from my batch, all are now at good positions in good companies.

Exam Structure :

Exams are as common as every other college! But every day, a GK test happens which is awesome.

Faculty :

Marketing and HR faculties are really awesome except few. Though some of the visiting faculties for Economics and finance are extremely good. A strict NO for Operations!!

Placement Experience:

The institute helps in placements from day 1 of the course. From helping you build your resume and improving the soft skills that will help you ace your interview rounds, a lot of sessions were conducted. We had various digital matkegimj agencies and brands coming in for creative and performance placements. Almost 90% of the batch was placed before the course ended.

Remarks:

My college is an above average college, which have a good Return on investment, for. marketing students it is perfect. As there are many highly educated and trained faculties in it. They should just focus more from the students perspective. And the issues should be raised to the upper management.

Admission:

I was interested in pursuing an MBA program right after appearing in the CMAT exam. In this exam I secured 66 percentile, along with this, I submitted all of my documents which included my academic profile, CMAT scorecard, and address proof.

Placement Experience:

As for the placement is concerned, the campus conducted this placement drives. And almost many companies were invited to the selection and hiring process. Like in my final year almost 20 plus companies visited my campus and hired more than half of my class. Companies like Henkel adhesive, Garware Wall Ropes Ltd came for the hiring process.
