Remarks :
In terms of studies and extra activities, the college is best. With a minimal fee structure, the college offers a variety of courses and also gives ample time to students to prepare for competitive exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Attending lab was always a lot of fun. We had to attend the lab twice a week. Timings were 9 am to 12 pm. Being a big lab, every student was allotted separate apparatuses. It helped us grab the concepts very easily.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are average. Companies do come there but their demands and expectations are very high from students. If a student is well versed with his course and speaks English fluently then he can easily grab a job from campus.
College Events :
There are many events that are celebrated in our college. Independence day, republic day, freshers week which lasts for 10 days. Sports week included a variety of sports. The College curriculum focused on the overall development of the personality of a student.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very less as compared to other colleges. I did my graduation in approx 3000 per year. A student from a poor and middle-class family can easily complete his studies and give shape to his career.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are many scholarships offered by our college. It included scholarships for ST, SC students. I don't have any idea about the loan facility. But I had a friend there who was from the SC category and was getting a scholarship.
Campus Life :
Our college also has NCC and NSS which ensure the overall development of a personality of a child. There are many events that are celebrated in our college. Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors were very helpful. From getting admission in the college to making notes, they were always with us to solve our doubts. They always motivated us to join NCC or NSS or any sports club. They were always a call away in case you need any help.
Admission :
I wanted to prepare for civil services. So I was looking for a good governments college. My friend suggested to me DBS PG college in Dehradun. I went there filled up the admission form. When the merit came, I was called on by the college administration and was asked to submit all the documents and fill the form. The process was very smooth and hassle-free.
Faculty :
The faculty was very helpful. They were always looking forward to helping students with their doubts. Apart from college studies, they also guided us in choosing career options and giving competitive exams.
