Strict and disciplined college

I can say it is one of the best upcomming college in Kerala with good faculties and dedicative students. Strength of the campus is less but M.Arch program will be starting soon which will make the college more lively.

This course consists of 4+1 year in total. One year is purely dedicated for internship which will be in fourth year. It has design exam (jury or viva) as well as proper theory exam. 1st and 2nd semerster's exam will be combined later on there will be seperate semester wise exams. Thesis is the last project which will be in last semester, S10. One will get B.Arch degree only after passing all the 10 semesters.

Our college have one year internship program but does not placements but we we did good performance in the interning office they might call us to join their firm after the completion of the course. I did my internship at Habitat Technology Group Trivandrum for complete one year and it was my transforming stage. I got better amount of practical knowlege from the firm.

Our college has various number of formal and informal events. Starting from Freshers day to convocation ceremony college conducts various events. Some events are festival celebrations like Onam, vishu, diwali, iftar, chritmas etc. We also have ethnic day, sports competitions, salad competition etc.

For merit seat it is feasible. For management quota is is expensive than merit quota but is comparitativly less from other colleges. College fees also includes other fees like library fee, computer lab fee, wifi, etc along with tuition fee.

In my knowledge there is no scholarship offered by the college. I got education loan from SBI bank and also scholarship from SBI since my father is an employ there. There is fee ruduction for minority groups.

There is annual study tour progromme for each year based on the syllabus. The entire course itself a fun activity engaging several case study, site studies etc. Apaet from that inter is inter college sports competitions etc.There are design studios for each semester.

I used to stay in hostel during 1st to 3rd year. The hostel is located slightly far from college but they have college bus facility.They have facility for studio works and canteen facility. Later they shifted the hostel to the college ehich save the students time and energy.

I am from the second batch of our college. Our seniours passed out a few months earlier and was a successfull course. There are many university rank holders from our college. The university topper also belongs to our college and has a good reputation in the community. Aluminu organisation , Alma has been created.

All the faculties hold post graduate degree from good colleges. They have good knowledge about the subject. They are well dedicated and experienced who work hard on their students. We will also have visiting faculties and architects who guide us on our design projects.
