Lucky to be an alumni

Remarks :

For me, this college is like a career-building platform. I feel so lucky to be a part of this college as each of us was given a great opportunity to work and study. As well as engage us in the core development of the management.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I studied various subjects like Marketing management which was a compulsory subject, apart from that I opted for Business Analytics and also learned about Business ethics. In our 2nd sem, we learned about core subjects and after the exams, we all were given the opportunity to work as an intern as a summer training for about 2 months.

Placement Experience :

I was placed in MD India Healthcare Ltd with a good package. Apart from this the campus placement drives were amazing as many companies with best facilities and salaries were invited. Even in my batch one of my classmates got placed in Ferro Alloys which is situated in Zambia. Hence, there were many students who got international placement too.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I paid around Rs 2 lakhs per year and in total, the fee was amounted to be Rs 4 lakhs/- approximately. Excluding the hostel fee which was also to be paid during the admissions. The fee structure was affordable and was totally worth investing in as the amenities were amazing too.

Hostel Facilities :

I was in a hostel and the facilities given to all of us were good. I paid around Rs 1,620,000/-. And was sharing the room with 2 more students. The mess was there along with this we also had medical facilities and doctor on call.

Admission :

I was sure about getting into this college for obtaining an MBA degree and as per the plan I did some research and gave my CAT exam, applied online by filling up the admission form available on the website, followed by the Entrance exam conducted by the college department. Hence through the merit list, I got in here.

Faculty :

My professors and visiting professors were so good and experienced. And were also very influential. Their way of giving us lecture were interesting and were polite enough to explain it again if asked. Apart from this, many of them even helped us during our summer internship program by giving us a list of companies we can work in.

From trimester 4, students are eligible for placements. Every year, top pharmaceutical corporations pay visits to institutions. Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

Placement Experience:

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.

Students sit for their Summer placements from the 2nd Trimester onwards. NM has a trimester system. A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits. The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting. The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs. The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc. NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records. After doing my MBA I plan to go back to Corporate and learn and implement at the workplace. Thereby have self-growth and also bring revenues to the company.

They do have a placement committee. Most of my classmates are already placed at top-notch brands and agencies through the placement cell. Post 9 months, we have to do a mandatory internship to get hands-on experience of the industry life and work culture.
