There is no entrance examination in oxford engineering college,pirattiyur,trichirappalli. Now a days entrance examinations no more.

Stuided for four years starting from 2009 and proved my abilities to all the challenges i was facing during the engineering. My pleasant personality and strong communication skill makes me most perfect for any international level job opportunity. One of my achievement was that i won student of the year award and one award for most innovative project of the year.Hundai,semens,hcl,dell,hp,renault and many companies were came. They are ready to give stipend Rs 80000-100000 pm.

Generally they are ready to offer 70000-90000(approx). Last year 146 students were placed in TCS, 48 were placed in wipro etc.

College Events :

College are organized various function in college fresher party and many events celebrate in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure may be slightly variable to counseling quoata and management quoata. The common fees is 45000 per semester examination and book fees is 5000 so totally 50000 for students who are came thorugh counseling quoata. For management students,totally 65000 per semester. Hostel fees are seperate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I think there is no loan facility available or offered by my college. But they gives scholarship to students those who got overall rank in college.

Campus Life :

Yes the campus life is quietly superb and the extra curricular activities like library,gym,physical training sports,labs are very useful to gain knowledge and strenght.

The college provides a state of the art hostel to all the inmates located conveniently in the proximity of the college campus the well furnished separate hostels for boys and girls are equipped with modern amenities and are efficiently administrated to pr

Yearly once our college invites all the alumini students and conduct like a party and also senior students are sharing their experience of their working experince and working atmosphere.

The exam structure for my college come be classify into four parts as cycle test1,cycle test2,cycle test3 and model exam before the university practicals exam.

Like tcs, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package will be 60k and minimum 25k. 98% got placed before completing the degree. 55% above is the minimum for placement if you want to be placed in a high package of salary Job.

Admission:

I got the Admission in this college based on 12th marks and Jee main. i got Jee main score of 130 and 12th marks of 95%. so based on this they will ready a common Merit list and publish the All India ranks. based on your AIR , you will be called for counseling. You have to go to the SASTRA campus, on your allotted counselling date and time and Book the Branch of your choice. This is the Admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Curriculum is really good it's on par with Bits and Nit syllabus. It's well designed to both suit the students needs and also equip them well with the basic fundamental concepts which can further strengthen their core concepts knowledge . moreover , the syllabus is designed in such a way that it covers 85% of gate exam syllabus. so we can also appear for gate exam immediately after completing our course. The Exam structure is based on conceptual learning. one has to be well equipped with concepts in order to pass in the exams. We must not mug up at any point of time as SASTRA exams will test your concepts rather than ur memory capacity. It will have 3 Cia exams out of which the best 2 exam scores will be considered for internal assessment and then followed by final semester examination which consists of 100 marks out of which 50 will be considered for overall grading. This is the exam structure
