Remarks
I am glad to be an alumni of the college and the Sengunthar Arts and Science College. The college made me confident enough to be a leader of a man and not to be limited to a corporate dog. The infrastructure was good and their method of teaching was practical oriented.
Course Curriculum Overview
We learned a wide array of topics including economics, finance, human resource, marketing, etc. Our curriculum was updated as per the latest industry norms. My specialization was Finance since I am from a finance background. The exams were conducted twice a year.
Placement Experience
Many reputable companies visit our campus, during the placement drive. Some companies even visit the campus for the internship process, as well. Big Brands like, ICICI, Pale G, Dell, Reliance, Cipla, HDFC, are some of the entities which visit frequently visit our campus for the recruitment process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid 70k on an annual basis for my MBA program. It was neither expensive nor feasible for me. We exhausted our family savings to pay the fee. Fortunately, in the end, it was all worth the pain. SASC is quite flexible with the fee structure as they offer fee concession to the needy students.
Campus Life
Our college was very active in terms of extracurricular activities. Numerous activities like industry visit, guest lectures, NSS camps, etc. were an elemental part of our curriculum. Computer labs were digitally advanced, elective course room was used for teaching elective subjects to the students.
Admission
I appeared for the MAT exam and applied to all the MBA colleges near my house. Among those colleges, the SASC was the best one. In fact, it is one of the best ones in the whole of Salem. I was called for the interview and the document verification process.
