Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of our college was most updated and focuses on preparing the leaders of the future. For the first two semesters, the curriculum focused on providing a holistic view of general management. From the third semester, we opted for specialization and in the last two semesters, our curriculum focussed on that only. Exams were held at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty great on our campus. All the companies which visit our campus are top brands in their niche market. Placement records are pretty good here. Almost 80% of students from my batch got placed. Though, the packages offered to the students, still have a scope of improvement. During my batch, the highest package offered was around 5 LPA and the average package was 2.5 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My annual PGPM fee was around 1.5 lacs which was pretty feasible for me. We had the appropriate facilities provided by the institute to trigger the overall development of a student. Scholarship options are limited to the meritorious students, students who excel in academics. This institute is closer to my house, that's why I picked this college.

Campus Life :

Our institute is highly active in terms of extracurricular activities, with numerous activities taking place through out the year. Since our institute is primarily a fashion institute, lots of fashion shows and celebrity events takes place in our college. All of our labs, especially the computer labs are highly updated. Workshops and guest lectures were another important element of our course structure.

Admission :

The admission process of the IIFT is pretty smooth and straight-forward. I applied to the college via offline mode with my school marks and graduation details. The institute releases a merit list on the basis of the academic details of the students. I appeared for a basic round of counseling with the HOD of the department.

Faculty :

Faculty consists of a pool of most qualified professors for the profile. All of our teachers had an extensive corporate experience which they shared with us in the form of live examples while explaining a certain topic. Most of the teaching was case study-oriented. Their constructive criticism and valuable feedback helped me improve a lot.

Placement Experience:

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

Placement Experience:

The placements are just average. Companies come everyday or everyweek. Placement drive keeps running all time. Packages above 10 LPA have very very high competition. Courses have everything to crack a good package off campus. But students aren't studious they don't know anything they just blame the university
