Remarks :
Overall college is good and siddaganga Institute of Technology is one of the top college of Karnataka ranked 73 in overall India and ranked 6 in karnataka. Our college fund for new project through incubation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Everything is fine and good, starting they used to train us in every field, and conducted workshops like, enterpreunership development programme, Quizzes etc and Sports as well. I think it is a good college for course curriculum.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good for Circuit branches and even for non circuit branches but those who want to get in into core will become problem, because most of the recruiters were from IT companies. And Placement dept used to conduct training for the process of the campus drive.
College Events :
Halcyon our college fest, spandana known as nada habba, momentum of mechanical branch fest, shelter of civil branch fest, technisium of circuit branch fest, instrumetrix of IT department, rachana of architecture dept and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Because our college belongs to Siddaganga mutt everything was feasible starting from first year year till the graduation and no extra charges have been taken up by the students as other colleges does. I took admission on Base of diploma we have to study BE for 3 years from 2nd year to 4th, every year I paid 71000, it includes 45000 KEA fees and rest of that is college fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
National scholarship offered ministry of minority affairs. And vidyasiri from state govt of Karnataka are the two scholarships I took. Apart from that I took Kmdc loan in district minority office and 4 lakh from Andhra Bank to complete my BE education. And some loans from Mpocket, krazy bee etc.
Campus Life :
Extra curricular activities are good, students come to us to approach to attend the event, some times we used to go to their class and call them to attend the event. Labs of our department were good, and We have R and D department to conduct conduct new experiment.
Hostel Facilities :
Because of our college belongs to Siddaganga mutt fee structure was low and the food quality was good as well. I have paid 78000 in the first year, 67000 in the second year and 64000 in the final year.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes, ofcourse they are helpful. Well I don't have network with old alumni. But I have good contact with senior some of them gave guidance for our project. And they helped us in every aspect in our studies.
Admission :
I took DCET examination conducted by Karnataka examination authority, in which my rank was 2152, according according to the priority of college which I entered in the college selection process, Siddaganga Institute of Technology was alloted.
Faculty :
We were having PhD faculty from IIT. They were motivation for us as well. Coming up for teaching in 2hich they were good, but some were really bad at teaching even though having knowledge, some were bad at delivering.
