Remarks :
If you talk about the reviews then there good and bad things about every place and this college also has same. The positive things are outstanding physics faculty, availability of books in library, support of few faculties and talking about negative things then this college has many. Average academics, poor playground, poor placements, bad interaction with seniors.
Course Curriculum Overview :
According to me the course curriculum is not appropriate as we have to to more assignments, experiments and class tests rather than focusing on semester examination. Due to which students have less time to prepare for. Examination takes place twice in an academic year.
Placement Experience :
If you talk about the placement and job opportunities then this college stands nowhere near, a handful of companies would visit college, maybe one or two. There's a minimal chance that you'll be hired , even if you are then the per annum package won't let you do so.
College Events :
There are few events that take place in college, like college day, sports day, allumni meet but these events are so exciting, for sports the college playground is not much big and you can't play your heart out.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee Structure is decent, neither costly nor cheap. Per annum fees of college is around Rs. 85,000. But there's Rs. 10,000 bus fee that's compulsory. So it doesn't matter where you come from. Bus fees is mandatory, you'll have to pay it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College approves a scholarship form that's named MOMA. This scholarship is for the minorities and the scholarship is given on 12th examination marks merit basis. Besides that there are loan schemes by state government that college approves. So it would be easy for students if they opted for this loan.
Campus Life :
There are extra curricular activities like sports, library, laboratories where you'll find enough equipments to learn things and in the library all books are available of academic help, you may go and study there. For sports only handful of items are available.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network are of no use because if you see then the seniors themselves are struggling to get settled. So what you expect from them. There are least chances of placement so these people struggle in their life to get settled and eventually you won't find them helpful.
Admission :
I filled the application form and was given a date to appear for entrance examination. Ranks are allotted to students based on examination performance. After that a counselling date is given and students asked to visit the office. So according to rank, seats are allotted.
Faculty :
Faculties of college are decent. Some of them try teach you better and while there are some who don't care what happens around. Sometimes the syllabus is not completed on time and we students have to suffer.
