Remarks :

I will not say positive or negative. For some cases it is positive like teachimg stuff, extracurricular activities, sports, lab etc. But in getting scholarship, job opportunities i must say it is negative.

Placement Experience :

College does not provide any kind of job opportunities. We have to do it our own. After graduation we have to msc or btech for our science stream students. Then only there is opportunity for job. Otherwise there is not.

College Events :

It is a very good topic to discuss. In every year there is freshers, seminar, social and farewell in our college. We enjoyed a lot during those days. Most importantly we perform in those activities regularly.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It os quite modarate. It varies depertment wise. In science stream the fee structure is a bit high but im arts or commerce stream the fee structure is low. And also for general stream students the fee structure is low.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no such kind of scholarship college provides. But for schedule cast or for schedule tribes there is scope for scholarship. They get 3000 ruppee anually. The college provides that for them. But not for other students.

Campus Life :

Our chemistry lab is very good. The stafs and the teachers are very helpful. We do extracurricular activities such as tree planting, garbage cleaning every year and a inter college football tournament held every year in our college ground.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our senior students are very helpful. They helps us in every possible way. Its not all about study but also in other cases. As now we are graduate they now also in our contact with our whats app group.

Admission :

At first we have to buy a challan of the form of our college. The seat is allocated in every stream. As per merit list there is a councilling. The students who have better marks in the 12th class will be selected.

Faculty :

There is 3 permanent teachers im our depertment amd the rest are guest lecturer. Head of the depertment changes in every year from the permanent teachers. The guest lecturer recruitment process done every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always liked psychology since the day i took the subject in class 11-12. I was very determined to persue psychology in my graduation as well as masters. The curriculum convinced me more to study this subject and know more about it. The curriculum involves all the aspects including it's applications in the real world. I personally don't think they should make much changes to the curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum is enriched with literature works by British and American writers which is really enjoyable to read and the Teachers make it more exciting. Teachers are really good at explaining every single point in the syllabus. In the history of literature part they give us notes about each and every write a and there works so that we are familiar with most of the part of our syllabus. They does not teach only for the exams but they make sure that we learn everything with depth. We have a semester exams in every 6 month but sometimes it becomes 7 or 5. But the teachers are really supportive so that we don't panic in our exams.

Placement Experience:

Training and placement cell complements the efforts of the members of faculty by organizing value-added programs and providing career counseling and placement opportunities to students. It acts as the major interface with the corporate sector and helps develop the industry-academia interrelationship. The cell organizes certain orientation programs, grooming sessions, mock interview sessions for students of each stream. Moreover, the cell organizes various summer internship programs for students to provide them with hands-on experience, thus introducing them to the professional environment. The cell continuously coordinates with various industries and organizations for the placement of students. It actively obtains feedback from organizations and conveys it to respective departments which, in turn, trains students accordingly, thereby increasing their employability. At Heritage, an all-out effort is made to groom the students for enhanced employability.

Admission:

I got affirmation in this university based on 10+2 marks. The base imprints expected to get a confirmation in this school is 50% in 10+2. To get affirmation, first, the up-and-comer needs to fill the structure. As I have done B.A. from this college, my affirmation depends on the legitimacy list.

Placement Experience:

The college gives great positions to the students. Numerous seniors from my seashore were put with acceptable compensation bundles. Numerous students likewise landed government positions. Likewise, a portion of the students got entry-level positions in all around rumoured firms. I also got an internship at this university. After that, I was placed in the same firm.

Remarks:

The postivie thing of our college is its Ambeince, Quality teachings, and being on of the oldest colleges in west bengal its a heritage to us and as a student i am proud to be a student of this college. In academic ways it clears all the basic and essential qualities needed in terms of studies which made it to be one of the top colleges in west bengal. The only negative thing according to me is that our canteen is open only for our professors not for us which is very unfair.

Remarks:

The College excels in providing a peaceful learning atmosphere where there is no brouhaha of the outside world and the teachers are superb. But , unfortunately, being a boys-only college, the girls can not have the excellent opportunities provided here. As an autonomous college, they should exercise their freedom more to the students' needs. The disciplinarian rigidity is extreme help, but it fires back sometimes. Otherwise, the college is a complete package for those who wants to really build their career and at the same time live a enjoyable hostel life. It is an experience indelible. Students are lucky and proud.

Entrance Preview:

There is no entrance exam conducted by the college. They publish a merit list and tech admission are done through this merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum strictly follows the university guidelines. The curriculum is very tough and extreme time and energy has to be invested to be able to score moderately good. Pass subjects are another headache because you have to clear them too. So choose a moderately easy subject which you think you can handle.
