Remarks :

There was a good infrastructure good wild life you get to see around college campos. Sometimes snakes too. And monkey's are everyday thing. Some teachers are good. Some of them are encouraging. Staff was also good with students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is followed of GTU. There are mid sem exam, practical exam and final exam at end of semester. Viva are conducted also throughout semester. There are 8 sems during b.e. In computer engineering.

Placement Experience :

Very poor experience for placement and job opportunities. College does not provide any kind of internship. Student were facing hard time to get a proper job after four year of study. Some of us were recruited by mass recruiting companies.

College Events :

There was navratri function every year. Final year students farewell party with respective branch and one combined with all students. There was annual function at the end of the year. It was 2 time in my four year study.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It was government so fees are negligible. Tution fees for boys it was 1500 for year and for girls it was free. For other fees to be paid to college which includes wifi and other facilities was 1700. Exam fees were 150 per subject.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It was government college so there was no any kind of scholarship provided to students. But you can get aid by applying for mysy scholarship by government. Most of the students in my batch were having mysy scholarships.

Campus Life :

Very good. There are hell of a competition through the engineering life. Students organise the competition for students. Administration was sometime not okay with them every time but it all worked out in our time.

Admission :

There are many ways to get in. I got it by merit list. I had 87% in my 12 so i had merit list around 3200. Don't remember for sure. It was good enough to get into gecgn in ce branch. There was a portal of acpc. In which you register and get your merit list for all the colleges of gujrat. I got my merit 3200 and admission in gecgn.

Faculty :

It was government college so it there was always a shortage of faculty in our college. There were some good and encouraging professor in our college. Principal was changed twice in my college time. Teaching skills were overall very good.

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.

SVIT Vasad is one of the most famous colleges located near Vadodara city. Famous for it's placements amd academic records. The college campus is just 05 mins away from Vasad bus depot.
